MANILA – All is well between Cristine Reyes and Ynna Asistio, who was tagged as the reason behind the Kapamilya star’s breakup with Derek Ramsay. Speaking on “Buzz ng Bayan” on Sunday, Asistio said she was able to talk to Reyes before she left for Hawaii last month, where she had a number of shows with Ramsay. “Nagkausap kami before sila umalis papuntang Hawaii. Sabi ko, ‘Akala ko galit ka sa akin kasi 'yung mga tao.’ Sabi niya, ‘Ano ka ba alam mo namang hindi lang talaga ako nagre-reply.’ So okay kami ni Cristine,” she shared. Asistio said she and Ramsay are also in good terms, stressing that she did not cause the former couple’s separation. “As long as hindi ako sinabihan ng lalaki na nanliligaw siya, ayaw ko mag-assume. I think kaya ako 'yung nasasabing reason kasi talagang lumabas din sa news na lumalabas kaming dalawa,” she said. Asistio said Reyes has been a long-time friend while she only became friends with Ramsay recently via the image-sharing site Instagram. “Naging friends kami ni Derek noong naghiwalay kami ni Mark (Herras). Si Cristine, matagal ko na siyang kilala. Si Derek, matagal na siyang friend ng mommy ko, pero nagkakilala lang kami nung naghiwalay kami ni Mark. Naging constant ang conversation namin sa Instagram,” he said. While she admitted that she got together with the actor a number of times, Asistio emphasized they were always part of a group. “[Nag-meet kami] nung nalaman niya na wala na akong boyfriend. Nag-meet kami pero as friends lang, kasama ko noon 'yung mga kapatid ko. After noon, dirediretso kaming magkasama,” she explained. Asked how she felt when her name got dragged into the breakup, Asistio said: “Honestly ang dami po talagang umaway sa akin sa Instagram. Napilitan akong mag-lie low. Nasaktan ako pero alam ko 'yung totoo and alam kong hindi naman totoo ang sinasabi ng mga tao.” Asistio said she just decided to distance herself so as to put an end to rumors. “I had to kasi ang dami ng issues na lumabas nung naging sila. Parang ayaw kong ma-involve so lumayo na lang ako,” she said. In a previous interview, Asistio expressed concern that rumors tagging her in the separation might negatively affect her career as a Kapamilya. Asistio, a former GMA-7 actress, transferred to ABS-CBN early this year and is now one of the artists of the Kapamilya talent management firm Star Magic. "Ang importante lang sa akin ngayon... kumbaga gusto ko lang alagaan 'yung binibigay sa akin ng ABS. So sana huwag nalang po ako idamay. Gusto ko lang i-clear na never po nanligaw si Derek, para matapos na po," she said. "Ayoko pong sayangin 'yung opportunity na 'to kasi minsan lang po magkaroon ng ganitong opportunity, so gusto ko po talaga alagaan," she added.

MANILA -- Ynna Asistio denied causing the breakup of celebrity couple Derek Ramsay and Cristine Reyes, amid rumors of the actor's supposed intentions to woo her. "Gusto ko lang i-clear -- si Derek at si Cristine, matagal ko nang kaibigan. Gusto ko lang i-clear sa lahat na never akong niligawan ni Derek. Magkaibigan kami," the 22-year-old Asistio told ABS-CBN News' Mario Dumaual on Tuesday. Reports of Ramsay and Reyes' supposed separation surfaced early this week, after both TV stars changed their Instagram usernames from "kingderekramsay" to "kidlatramsay11," and "QueenCKRamsay" to "AwesomeQueenCK," respectively. Their original usernames referred to their being a couple. By Ramsay's admission, he and Reyes became a couple last August 28, after being close friends since 2011 when they co-starred in the romance-drama film "No Other Woman." Ramsay and Reyes have yet to confirm the break-up. Recalling hearing of the news, Asistio said, "Isa rin ako sa mga nag-wish na maging okay silang dalawa, dahil best friends talaga sila. Alam ko 'yon. So sana, tama na, tigilan nalang po, ayoko nalang po talaga madamay diyan." Asistio, who is a long-time friend of Reyes, said she only met Ramsay recently. Ynna Asistio moves to ABS-CBN

MANILA -- After some six years as a GMA-7 talent, Ynna Asistio recently took up her first project as a Kapamilya contract artist. The 21-year-old actress on Thursday appeared in a taped episode of the ABS-CBN game show "Minute to Win It," along with her mother, actress Nadia Montenegro. Host Luis Manzano welcomed the celebrity contestants to the program, mentioning Asistio's move to be part of ABS-CBN's talent management firm. "Nakakapanibago seeing you here. Welcome to ABS-CBN, and you're now part of the Star Magic family," Manzano told Asistio, whose father is former Caloocan City Mayor Macario "Boy" Asistio, Jr. Prior to signing up with the Kapamilya network, Asistio starred in several GMA-7 series. The young actress, who is also set to appear in an upcoming episode of the weekend drama anthology "Maalaala Mo Kaya," expressed gratitude for the warm welcome she has gotten since switching networks. "Sobra 'yung pagtanggap nila sa amin. We didn't expect na magiging gano'n. Thank you kasi simula pa lang, ang saya-saya na at sobrang busy na, so thank you po talaga sa ABS-CBN," she said. Montenegro, meanwhile, appeared overjoyed in saying her daughter can expect her full support in pursuing her "dream" of becoming an actress. Early this year, Asistio's showbiz dreams took a back seat when she was dragged into a legal tiff with her former talent manager, Annabelle Rama. Montenegro had accused Rama of "child abuse" for the latter's alleged mishandling of her children's showbiz careers. Both camps have since reconciled, prompting the dropping of legal charges they had filed.

Mark Herras admits girlfriend Ynna Asistio threatened to break up with him

Inamin din ni Mark na dahil sa pagiging abala niya sa Unforgettable ay halos mawalan siya ng panahon para sa kasintahan niyang si Ynna Asistio.

Sa isang interview kay Ynna, nasabi ng aktres na hinamon niya si Mark nang hiwalayan dahil nawawalan na sila ng panahon para sa isa’t isa.

Nasabi ni Mark na sa limang taon na may relasyon sila ni Ynna ay marami na silang pinagdaanang mga pagsubok.

May mga naging pagkukulang din siya kay Ynna kaya hangga’t maaari ay gusto niyang ayusin ang anumang problema nila, tulad ngayon na may kinalaman ang trabaho niya sa kanilang hindi pagkakaunawaan.

“Talagang nawalan ako ng time for Ynna,” pag-amin ni Mark.

“May kinalaman talaga yung series namin ni Kylie [Padilla]. Since nagsimula kami, parati kaming naghahabol sa taping.

“Kaya halos every day may taping kami. Lalo na ngayon, nagbabangko kami dahil Holy Week.

“May schedule pa nga yata ako ng taping hanggang Wednesday, kaya sagad-sagaran kami bago magbakasyon,” paliwanag ni Mark.
