Ruffa Gutierrez has been pretty visible inside the ABS-CBN compound these days. She was a guest judge on It’s Showtime and she will be starring with Vice Ganda in a Metro Manila Film Fest movie titled Girl, Boy, Bakla, Tomboy, which is co-produced by the network’s film outfit, Star Cinema. Is this a sign that she’s returning as a Kapamilya?
“Mahirap sagutin ‘yan, basta all the works that I am doing now is with ABS-CBN and basically my heart never left naman eh. Ang pinakimportante siguro diyan na imbes sabihin mong Kapamilya, siguro ka-trabaho,” she remarked in an interview with Push.com.ph and with the other press during a photo shoot for her MMFF movie.
Though she’s not making any confirmation yet on what network she’s going to go full-time with, Ruffa relayed that she’s set to do a big project slated to air next year. “Well meron akong project na it’s coming up. Nakalaan siya next year so malalaman din nila ‘yun,” she said.
In the meantime, Ruffa is excited to be starring with Vice Ganda in Girl, Boy, Bakla, Tomboy. “First time kung makatrabaho siya sa isang pelikula. Nakasama ko na dati sa mga interviews lang. Napakahusay niya, ang galing ng timing niya sa comedy, kasi ang hirap magpatawa, mas madaling magpaiyak and masasabi ko na for sure isang box office hit na naman ‘to,” she said.
“Kasi sa set pa lang habang nagsho-shoot tawa na kami ng tawa and right there and then iniiba nila ‘yung script. Nagdadagdag sila ng mga punch lines, ‘yung mga comedy scenes na hindi nila nadadagdag naiisip nila on set so makikita mo talaga na hindi sila mabo-bore,” she remarked.
