Seven months after injuring her right knee after a scary crash at the Alpine World Championships in Schladming, Austria, the Olympic skier announced on her website that she's postponing her return to competition to give herself more time to get back up to speed. "My training camp in Soelden went very well and I made great progress, but I feel that I need more training before I start racing again," wrote Vonn about her decision to skip this weekend's races at Soelden, which kicks off the new World Cup season. The 29-year-old alpine champ suffered a torn ACL and MCL and a bone fracture in her right knee following last February's mishap that forced her to undergo surgery. Months of rehabilitation followed but Vonn decided to put this first race on ice, she said, to give her a better shot at going for the gold in Sochi, Russia, early next year. As a result, the first official competitive World Cup race for Tiger Woods' girlfriend will now take place at Beaver Creek, Colo on Nov. 29. "Patience is not my strong suit so not racing is very hard for me but it will only make me more excited for the next one," she added. "I will go home to Vail and continue my preparation for the Beacer Creek races and my ultimate goal in February!" Vonn, of course, is the most decorated skier in U.S. history having won four World Cup championships and becoming the first American woman to win the gold medal in downhill skiing at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.

Though we heard that her official, yay-freedom release time was supposed to be at the crack of midnight, the actress was photographed leaving Cliffside Malibu at around 6 p.m. She was spotted smoking a cigarette outside the facility before she hopped into an SUV and was driven away. She spent about a month and a half at Cliffside after starting her treatment process at the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage in the wee hours of May 3. She transferred because, as a source put it to E! News at the time, "she wanted a change." And though she may want to avoid catching up on early reviews of The Canyons, the 27-year-old starlet is headed right back into the biz—she's guest-hosting Chelsea Lately on E! next Monday. There is a court hearing pertaining to her case scheduled for Wednesday at 8:30 a.m., but Lohan was not required to be there unless there was an issue with her probation. "Tardiness, unpredictability, tantrums, absences, neediness, psychodrama—yes, all that," The Canyons director Paul Schrader recently said about Lindsay Lohan. "But something more, that thing that keeps you watching someone...that thing you can't take your eyes off of, that magic, that mystery." That trainwreck—at least, that might be one opinion after watching the just-released trailer for the erotic, noir film, which showcases Lohan's acting skills stripping skills prominently. The preview starts with Lindsay's character, Tara, monologuing about movies (who sees them, if movies mean anything to anyone anymore), as pictures of various rundown movie theaters pan across the screen, naturally. She decides, "Maybe it's just not my thing anymore." Oh, the irony! We will give Schrader the benefit of the doubt on this one and assume that was intentionally meant to mirror LiLo's actual career, where a string of recent films like Liz & Dick and Scary Movie 5 might indicate that maybe it's not her thing anymore either. From there, it's all sex and skin and lingering looks (that probably lead to sex and more skin that appear in the process of shooting a sex tape) and did we mention sex, all over a blaring EDM soundtrack. Lindsay strips down multiple times throughout the one-minute clip. She shares sex scenes with porn star James Deen, at least one of which is filmed in the movie by a third person (sex tape!). And, in the end, she laments, "I guess I'd like to keep some parts of my life private." To which she's (ironically) told, "Nobody has a private life anymore." (Lindsay has actually been out of the limelight for the past few months, as she's enrolled in a locked-down rehab program. She gets out right in time for the film's July 29 premiere.) The trailer ends by promoting the release date, reading "See it August 2 in select theaters or in the privacy of your home." Watch it at home if you are easily embarrassed by sex scenes.
