MANILA -- Is television host Mariel Rodriguez returning to ABS-CBN?
In his official Instagram account, Rodriguez's husband, action star Robin Padilla, hinted that he will miss his "jobless babe."
Rodriguez left the Kapamilya network in 2011 to join Willie Revillame’s primetime game show "Wiltime Bigtime," which eventually became the noontime show "Wowowillie."
Before moving to the No. 3 network, she was part of several ABS-CBN noontime shows such as "Wowowee" and "Pilipinas Win NA Win" and also co-hosted "Pinoy Big Brother" with Toni Gonzaga and Bianca Gonzales.
Less than a week after "Wowowillie" aired its final episode, Rodriguez was seen at the ABS-CBN compound, although she quickly clarified that she was there for host Boy Abunda's birthday.
On Wednesday, Padilla posted a video of Rodriguez putting on make-up with the caption: "Dumating na ang Araw na aking kinakatakutan... Ang araw nang patawag ng mga kapamilya sa ABS-CBN, direk Lauren D."
Padilla was obviously referring to ABS-CBN TV production head Laurenti Dyogi.
Then later that night, Rodriguez appeared as a guest on the "Bandila" segment, "Ikaw Na!" with Abunda.
Asked if she's coming back to ABS-CBN, Rodriguez said: "I would love too, I don't know yet right now."
