Channing Tatum may be the coolest dad ever. Appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Wednesday, Oct. 2, the21 Jump Street star's wife, actress Jenna Dewan-Tatum, opened up about how her hubby has bonded with their 4-month-old daughter, Everly.
"He's amazing," the Witches of East End star raved of Tatum, 33. "It's funny—he's so sensitive. He's like this really strong big guy in life, but you give him this little baby and he's like, 'Oh my god, is she going to drop? Am I doing everything ok?'"
According to Dewan-Tatum, 32, the Magic Mike star is also "the most amazing diaper changer" she knows. "It's like the one thing he knows he can do," she explained. "He's like, 'Let me get in there. Let me change those diapers.' Here you go!"
People's Sexiest Man Alive excels in other areas, too—particularly when it comes to soothing his firstborn child. "The baby is crying and you're like, ‘What do I do to make her stop crying?'" Dewan-Tatum said. "And all of a sudden, he starts beatboxing and she starts cooing. I'm like, what? I have been rocking her. I have been swaying her. I've been doing squats and he gets here and he [beatboxes]."
Dewan-Tatum added, "She would just fall asleep in his arms."
The beatboxing continues "till this day," she shared. "We beat box what we're doing during the day."
