Eugene confident 'Kimmy Dora 3' will be a hit

MANILA – Coming off the massive success of the first two installments of “Kimmy Dora,” actress Eugene Domingo said she does not feel pressured to replicate the movies’ box-office achievements with the upcoming prequel of the comedy film series. Domingo explained that her confidence in the movie, which is an entry to this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival, lies on the fact that they knew exactly what they want from the movie. I-expect natin na maraming pasabog and paandar dahil third and last installment na siya,” she said. Just like the two previous “Kimmy Dora” films, Domingo promised that moviegoers will something different in the new flick. “I’m very excited. 'Yung comedy niya is kompleto. May exciting scenes, may play of words. It’s complete,” she said. “I’m also very excited about the cast this time kasi ngayon niyo lang sila makikita, mga dramatic actors na malamang dito na masisira ang kanilang mga reputasyon,” she added in jest. Aside from Domingo, the third “Kimmy Dora” movie will also feature Angel Aquino and Sam Milby. Meanwhile, Milby shared that he is very comfortable with his role in the third “Kimmy Dora.” I feel comfortable with the character. Medyo serious pa din eh,” he said. Adding to Milby’s excitement is that his will be his first time to join the annual MMFF.
