Julia Barretto believes everything will be okay

MANILA – Young actress Julia Barretto remains positive amid the non-stop controversies surrounding her family. Just recently, her aunt Claudine made headlines after she sought a temporary protection order against her husband Raymart Santiago. Her aunt Gretchen, on the other hand, expressed that she is no longer part of the Barretto family since she was already disowned. In an interview with ABS-CBN News and other entertainment reporters on Monday, the young Barretto said that while intrigues continue to hound their family, she is certain that all of them are all going to be okay. “At the end, magiging okay rin ang lahat. There’s nothing to worry about. Magiging okay din,” she said. Barretto said she does not want to dwell on negative things. “I’m okay with everyone, I’m very happy. Happy happy lang, My gosh, wala ng time maging sad. Very blessed ako, there’s no time to complain,” she said. The 16-year-old Barretto said she’d rather be thankful that the ABS-CBN management continuously believes that she has a potential to be a good actress “Sobrang nagpapasalamt kasi dream ko ito dati pa. happy, excited, thankful, lahat,” she said. Asked whether she is bothered about comparisons with young actress Kathryn Bernardo, Barretto said: “Before you even enter show business, dapat na-accept mo na 'yung fact na maco-compare ka sa kahit sino.” She added: “Hindi naman 'yun 'yung dapat tinututukan, fino-focus, or binibigyan ng attention kasi you have work, you have so many things around you, you have so many better things to focus on.” Barretto is set to topbill her first television series “Mira Bella,” which will also feature Diego Lloyzaga and Kiko Diaz-Estrada
