MANILA – It seems that professional basketball player James Yap is slowly letting his fans into his personal life as he posted yet another photo with his girlfriend Michela.
On Sunday, Yap shared a photo in his Instagram account showing his Italian girlfriend hugging him. The two appear to be privately having tea since no other people are captured in the photo.
The image is simply captioned “1.”
As of posting, the photo dubbed "sweet" by the followers of the basketball player on Instagram, already has over 2,660 "likes" and more than 170 comments.
While he shares bits of his personal life to his followers, Yap remains evasive when asked about his love life, saying he wants to keep it private this time.
Yap was previously married to television host Kris Aquino, with whom he has a son, James "Bimby" Yap Jr.
However, Yap, for the first time, talked about Michela earlier this month, saying she has been very supportive of him despite his past.
"Alam naman niya lahat bago ako pumasok sa relasyon. Alam niya lahat," he said at the time.
"Very ano siya, supportive. Supportive all the way," Yap added.
While he is happy with how his relationship is going, Yap said his main focus right now is his son with Aquino.
Yap finally got to spend time with Bimby earlier this month following a resolved legal dispute between him and Aquino.
