Angel Locsin misses Robin on 'Toda Max'

MANILA – Angel Locsin finally broke her silence over the long absence of actor Robin Padilla in their ABS-CBN sitcom “Toda Max.” Without providing details, Locsin said she and the rest of the cast of the weekly comedy show miss working with Padilla but added that they respect the actor’s decision. “Nalungkot kaming lahat pero kilala namen si Kuya Binoe. Alam namin na hindi siya magdedesisyon ng wala sa lugar so sinusuportahan namin siya. Nami-miss namin siya,” she said. If she given the chance, Locsin said she would definitely work with Padilla in another project again. “Kung makakasama ko siya ulit, masaya iyon. Marami akong natutunan sa kanya. Siya nga 'yung isa sa mga dahilan kung bakit ako nag ‘Toda Max,’” she said. New movie Meanwhile, aside from “Toda Max,” Locsin is also busy with her upcoming Star Cinema movie “Four Sisters and a Wedding” with Bea Alonzo, Toni Gonzaga, Shaina Magdayao and Enchong Dee. In the first trailer for the film released last week, sisters Teddie (Gonzaga), Bobbie (Alonzo), Alex (Locsin) and Gabbie (Magdayao) are shown gathering at home for their youngest sibling's (Enchong Dee) wedding. However, the four sisters, who dislike the bride's family, conspire to block the wedding. As they scheme to "save" their only brother, the siblings are also forced to face the problems in their family. According to Locsin, she feels honored to be part of this movie with ABS-CBN’s biggest stars. “First time ko makatrabaho na maraming artisa at ang bait nila at walang comepetition sa set,” she said. “Four Sisters and a Wedding” will kick off the 20th anniversary celebration of ABS-CBN's film production outfit when it releases in theaters nationwide on June 26.
