Korean Actor Park Si Hoo Turns in New Evidence for His Case

New evidence has sprung up in the Park Si Hoo case, as the actor's attorney turned in records of Kakao Talk messages from the accuser.

On March 1, Park Si Hoo's side turned in to the Seobu Police Agency as evidence records of Kakao Talk conversations between the accuser 'A', her friend 'B' and Park Si Hoo's accused junior actor 'K'.

Police stated on March 2 that they "are evaluating the cellphone messenger records turned in as evidence."

Many media outlets reported that the records contain a conversation held between A and K on the morning following the incident, in which she tells K that she got home safely and checks whether he is alright. They also reported that she talked with B in another conversation about how she should demand hundreds of millions of won in compensation from Park Si Hoo.

Park Si Hoo was questioned by police on the day the new evidence was turned in. He had answered his police summons after refusing to attend two previous summons.

Following a 10-hour-long meeting, Park Si Hoo stood before the press and said with a calm expression, "I have a lot to say... but I've given my evidence to the police. I want to uncover the truth."

He then left in a car prepared for his departure.

Chief Seo Joon Ok of the Seobu Police Agency commented, "Park Si Hoo and K were put under a thorough investigation in the presence of their attorneys. We will set further schedules for the investigation based on the results of the questioning this day."

When asked whether Park Si Hoo admitted to any charges, he answered, "I can't answer that."
