Grand celebration offering of ABS-CBN and Star Cinema for the 50th anniversary of Vilma Santos, a film "The Healing". Three years after In My Life, Ms. Vilma is happy with her new gift to her fans.
"I'm excited and challenge because of The Healing, before I never done horror films. And since I rarely make films, I deign to give viewers a unique one, " she said.
The latest 'golden girl' of Philippine showbiz was also happy because she was given a chance to be with director Chito Roño and Kim Chiu on her 50th anniversary film.
"I've long awaited this project and plus director Chito made it. I'm so proud of it."
"With regards to Kim in fact, she is great and she would definitely go far in showbiz," she said.
Exactly to the description of Star For All Seasons, The Healing is scheduled to create a new mark in the field of Philippine horror cinema.
"The story about the tradition of the Filipinos turned to faith healers to cure is not yet fully discussed in a movie. And our movie, is not just a typically horror film, but it will also make you think about how faith healing become a part of the Filipino Culture," said Vilma.
