Enchong opens up on reported 'gay sex video'

MANILA -- Actor Enchong Dee on Thursday addressed rumors that he allegedly has a sex video with the openly gay Internet celebrity Sebastian Castro. Dee said he already responded to queries on his Twitter account about the veracity of the rumors, recalling that he was vacationing in Mongolia with his family when rumors about the alleged sex video started spreading on the Internet. "Sabi ko, as far as I can remember, hindi ako 'yung taong klaseng na mahilig mag-record or mag-ganyan," he said. "Another thing is, actually hindi ako na-offend, na-excite nga ako kasi gusto kong makita kung ano ba 'yung scandal. 'Sabi ko wala naman akong naalala na ginawa ko na I'm not proud of, so dinaan ko na lang sa sarcasm at the same time. I'm giving the chance for that person to show the scandal kasi nga whatever it is, I'm not scared na anytime ay lalabas siya because I'm not the kind of person who does that," Dee stressed. The "Muling Buksan Ang Puso" star said he doesn't even know Castro. "Hindi ko talaga siya kilala. I'm sorry, hindi naman sa nagmamayabang pero hindi ko talaga siya kilala," he said. Dee admitted that he felt offended that this latest rumor sparked questions about his sexual orientation. "Hindi ako nao-offend na may ganoong isyu (sex video). Na- offend ako na parang ganoon ba kababa ang tingin sa akin ng mga tao, na ganoong klaseng tao 'yung kasama ko sa isang video scandal. ...I don't know him personally pero pasensiya na. And, at the same time, sa mga taong naglalabas (ng tsismis), eh hindi ko akalain na ganoon kababa 'yung tingin niyo sa akin," he said. But Dee said he is not worried that such talk will affect his public image. "I don't need to prove anyone or to prove anything and I'm not the kind of guy na manggagamit ng tao para mapatunayan lang sa kanila kung sino ako," Dee stressed. Asked if he knows who started spreading the rumors, Dee said: "Mayroon akong isang conclusion. Again, hindi sa nagmamayabang pero automatic kasi. Dahil sa dami ng ginagawa ko ngayon, I'm the first one na maiisip ng tao na ilagay sa ganoong klaseng intriga." Until now, there is still no confirmation if the alleged sex video really does exists.

Julia Montes says she’s closer now to Enchong Dee

092813-julia_main.jpg

Julia Montes remarked that her friendship with Enchong Dee has truly flourished through working together in Muling Buksan ang Puso. “’Yung friendship namin open na open na, okay na okay na kami, komportable po kami sa isa’t isa, so kumbaga hindi na namin naaalala ‘yung mga ano man dati.” But when asked if they are going to take it to the next level and commit to a relationship anytime soon, the actress relayed that they are both content and happy with what they have right now. “Eh mas masaya po kami kung anong meron sa amin ngayon so ‘yun muna namin yung ini-enjoy namin ngayon.” As their teleserye is now drawing to a close, the young actress relayed that she learned a lot from the show while working with experienced actresses like Agot Isidro and Cherie Gil. But was there ever a time that she had difficulties acting in some scenes? “Yes po lalo na pag may ka-eksena po akong veteran. Every time na sinsabi na magti-take na tayo ito ‘yung sequence kasama mo si Ms. ganito or Mr. ganito, [sabi ko] ‘Oh my gosh ito na parang iniisip ko na kung papaano ko ibabato ‘yung lines, parang super conscious po ako noon kung papaano siya bibitawan,” she said.

Enchong Dee says he will cherish the moments he spent with Julia Montes on their show

Enchong Dee remarked that working on Muling Buksan Ang Puso has truly brought him fulfillment as an actor. The chinito actor was able to work with some of the best actors in the business in the teleserye. When asked about his preparations working with them, Enchong relayed, “Kasi ‘yung mga first few years akong nagtratrabaho, hindi ako nakaka-perform ng maayos pag nai-intimidate ako kaya simula pa lang nong story-con namin ni Ms. Cherie (Gil) kinakausap ko na siya at unti-unti ko na siyang jino-joke at unti-unti kong nakukuha ‘yung loob niya kasi alam ko kung mai-intimidate ako sa kanya hindi ko magagawa ‘yung eksena ng maayos,” he shared. The same goes with Christopher de Leon. “With tito Boyet nong first day pa lang na mag-taping siya sa amin kinausap ko na siya, so alam mo ‘yung bini-break ko na ‘yung ice kasi alam ko pag hindi na break ‘yun magiging sabaw at sablay ‘yung performance so as much as possible pag dumating na ako sa set alam ko na lahat ‘yung lines at alam ko na lahat ng gagawin ko kasi nakakahiya na sila pa ‘yung maghahantay para sa akin so ‘yun ‘yung mga preparations na ganon kasi ikaw ‘yung mas double ‘yung effort, mas double ‘yung hard work kasi bigatin ‘yung mga kasama mo,” he stated. Now that the show is ending, the actor relayed that he would be cherishing the times that he spent with Julia Montes. “Siyempre iche-cherish ko ‘yung mga panahon na nakikipag open up ako sa kanya, na she can seek advice in terms of life [from me], alam mo ‘yung nagiging confident ka sa ibang tao, it’s something na alam mong ginagawa niya ‘yun kasi she looks up highly to you, rumerespeto siya sa ’yo.” Is there any regret that it didn’t work out between the two of them before? “Hindi naman siguro pagsisisi ‘yung term but there will always be what ifs pero for that matter I’m happy na pinagdaanan namin ‘yung pinagdaanan namin kasi alam kong makakatulong sa amin ‘yung bilang artista at bilang tao so ‘yung experience na ‘yun we will always cherish.”

Julia Montes, Enchong Dee reconcile

MANILA -- Julia Montes and Enchong Dee admitted on Thursday that they had gone through a rough patch, and credited their ongoing TV project together for paving the way for reconciliation. The Kapamilya stars, who were rumored to be a couple for a time, opened up about the state of their relationship shorlty after a press conference held Thursday night for their primetime series "Muling Buksan ang Puso," which will air its final episode on October 4. Montes and Dee appeared at ease as they addressed questions about the ABS-CBN drama, with the 24-year-old actor offering a ready answer when he was asked, at one point, whether he feels negatively about the actress' rumored romantic ties with their co-star, Enrique Gil. On whether he welcomes the supposed closeness of Gil and Montes, Dee said, "Oo naman, sabi ko nga, I think that's the reason also why I accepted the project, kasi alam ko ito 'yung pagkakataon namin para mas maging magkaibigan kami." Staying as friends The 18-year-old actress, who was beside Dee during the interview, added, "Totoo naman kasi talaga. Thankful kami sa show na 'to dahil dito kami nagkaayos at naging mas open." Asked what she feels caused their rift, Montes said, "Siguro kasi masyadong na-rush 'yung mga bagay-bagay. Siguro ngayon mas naa-appreciate namin kung ano ang meron kami kaya ganito kami ngayon, at masaya kami kung anong meron kami." Dee and Montes were rumored to be a couple after co-starring in two films in 2012. They were reported to have supposedly broken up in October that same year. With renewed ties as friends, Dee said he would prefer to keep his relationship with Montes at this level. "Sabi ko nga, katulad ng dati, bibihira 'yung ganitong klaseng reconciliation. So might as well take care of that friendship na naibalik. So doon nalang kami," he said. Closer ties Noting they have been working "24/7" leading up to the finale of "Muling Buksan ang Puso," both Kapamilya stars shared they continue to learn new things about each other. Referring to Montes being a breadwinner for her mom and grandmother, Dee said, "[Natutunan ko kay Julia na] hindi kailangan maging matanda para maging mature at maging aware sa mga nangyayari sa buhay, because she did it at a very young age, 'yung responsibility na nagawa niya." Montes, meanwhile, lauded the professionalism of her leading man, saying he can easily switch from being a serious actor to a goofy friend on set when the cameras aren't rolling. "Mature kasi si Enchong, pero sa time na parang kailangan magpaka-teenager o 'yung tipong enjoy, makikita mo 'yung side niya na siya Enchong Dee na totoo. "At saka sa pag-arte niya, napapanood ko siya before pa. At ngayon, nakita ko 'yung ibang Enchong Dee. Talagang masasabing versatile actor talaga siya," the actress said.

On Monday night, Dee decided to just ride the MRT to make it to the premiere night of his movie "Tuhog" at Gateway Cinema in Cubao. In his Twitter account, Dee posted a photo of himself waiting at the MRT station in Santolan. "I think hindi ko gagawin 'yung ginawa ko ngayong gabi, 'yung pag-MRT mula sa taping at babalik sa taping kung hindi ako 100% supportive sa pelikula," Dee said In an interview with ABS-CBN News. Dee also said he enjoyed riding the MRT and meeting a lot of people. The actor said his experience inside the train in away mirrored the story of their film "Tuhog," which is set to hit theaters nationwide starting July 17. "May realization how to value their life, katulad ng nakita ko sa MRT -- ang dami-daming tao na araw-araw ay nagpupunta sa trabaho, nagbibiyahe. Hindi mo alam kung ano ang pwede mong kaharapin, mananakawan ka or minsan maaksidente ka. Kumbaga ever second of our life let's value it kasi hindi mo alam kung ano ang susunod," Dee said. Enchong invests money on building, property

MANILA, Philippines -- He may be only 25 but actor Enchong Dee is proud to have his own building, as well as properties, which he bought from his earnings in showbiz. "Hindi ko akalain na sa edad na ganito ay darating 'yon at makakapagpapatayo ako ng isang bagay na mamahalin ko. Hindi sa nagmamayabang ako, kung hindi gusto kong i-share sa tao na kaya niyo din basta may sipag at tiyaga," he said in an interview on "Bandila" on Tuesday night. That's why Dee said he doesn't want to let opportunities pass him by, especially since he knows his work in showbiz won't last forever. "Lahat naman ito temporary lang so ini-enjoy ko lang kung ano ang mayroon ngayon, grabbing all the opportunities na dumadaan sa akin," he explained. "Minsan may kutob ka din na tataya ako dito," he added. Among the movies he really pushed for are the upcoming "Tuhog," as well as the box-office hit "Four Sisters And A Wedding." "Because they were having problem sa schedules ko sinabi ko sa kanila, 'Hindi, ibigay niyo sa akin. Wala akong problema kung hindi ako makakatulog o makakauwi, basta ibigay niyo sa akin,'" Dee said. Aside from promoting the two films, Dee is also busy working on ABS-CBN's newest series "Muling Buksan Ang Puso" with Enrique Gil and Julia Montes, which premiered last Monday to strong ratings.

Enchong Dee reacts to Coco Martin’s continuous affection for Julia Montes

“Of course yung pressure hindi mawawala, but I’m really, really excited with all the projects that are happening. I’m always excited kasi parating nabibigyan ng pagkakataon na palaging kakaiba yung ginagawa mo and hindi pa man lumalalabas yung isang buwan eh makakasama na ulit tayo... Kaya I’m just so thankful.” Ibig sabihin, you’re on the right track. So pagpapatuloy ko lang and never stop learning and I will always be grateful for them.” Nakapag-workshop kami, nakapag-usap kami. So now, kapag nasa set kami or kung san man kami magkakasama, madali na yung paguusap namin, kumportable, we can joke around, we can talk anything na walang ilangan.” Dagdag pa ni Enchong tungkol sa kanila ni Julia, “Masaya ako kasi nga parang di ba after all of what happened maayos na kami. So alam mo yun, wala na talaga. I mean, kung anuman yung interpretasyon ng tao, meron kaming sariling relationship ngayon which is which is really really good as friends.” And I think naging vocal naman dati si Coco and there’s no problem with that. I’m really happy na she can go to Coco anytime or she can talk to Coco anytime about anything. And I think we’re both happy wherever we are today.”

Enchong planning to court Julia Montes anew?

MANILA – Actor Enchong Dee wants to take it slow between him and actress Julia Montes as they spend more time together while working on the upcoming ABS-CBN series “Muling Buksan and Puso.” Dee and Montes shared something special in the past but it did not end well, mainly because of their busy schedules. In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Dee said rebuilding their friendship is more important for him. “Yung wini-wish namin na magkasama kami every day, nandito kami ngayon sa position na ito. Whatever happens, it will just happen. Ngayon, nandoon kami sa estado na pinapagtibay muna naming ang friendship namin. Doon naman talaga nagsisimula lahat iyon,” he said. Dee said he does not want to pursue the actress right away as this may be misinterpreted as simply part of the promotions of their show. “Hindi namin pinipilit. Hindi namin sinasabi ito just for the audience to patronize our show. Sinasabi namin ito because that is what’s happening. ['Yung kilig between us], isa siyang ingredient sa ginagawa naming teleserye,” he said. Meanwhile, Montes was asked if she is ready to open her heart for Dee anew. “Wala namang nagsarang puso. Sabi ko nga, wala rin naman kasing naputol sa amin. Nagkailangan lang. siyempre naging busy ako, naging busy siya. Communication lang ang naputol. Wala namang involved na ibang tao,” she said. It was rumored before that the budding romance between Montes and Dee was short-lived because actor Coco Martin, who was Montes’ leading man at the time, entered the picture. Dee and Montes, however, already stressed in previous interviews that Martin had nothing to do with their relationship.

Julia: No awkward moments with Enchong

MANILA – Teen actress Julia Montes is hoping her upcoming primetime series will reach, or even surpass, the success of her previous soap “Walang Hanggan.” In an interview with ABS-CBN News on Monday, Montes said she is already looking forward to working on “Muling Buksan Ang Puso” which also stars Enrique Gil, Enchong Dee and other veteran actors. “Excited ako kasi bago kaming magkakasama. First time naming magkakasama nila Enchong and Enrique sa isang teleserye. Bagong experience ito para sa aming tatlo,” she said. Montes also noted that this is the first time that Gil will be her leading man. “Nilu-look forward ko kapag nagkakaeksena na talaga kami, nagtatawanan kami kasi kumbaga nasanay kami na ‘ASAP’ lang and ‘Shoutout’ tapos yung movie namin. Iba kasi yung role naming doon, and ito as love team, naninibago kami at nagtatawanan kapag may eksenang seryoso. Nagkakapaan kami,” she said. "Muling Buksan ang Puso" lead stars Julia Montes and Enqiue Gil Montes, meanwhile, denied rumors that she and Dee are having awkward moments since they previously had a relationship. “Walang ilangan and dahil nga dati iniisip lang naming baka hindi kami magkatrabaho sa teleserye, ito na nga. Iba 'yung magiging rapport namin kapag teen show kasi normal get up lang namin. Ito may role kami na ipo-portray so excited kami,” she said. The 18-year-old actress said she is glad that her character in this series isn’t too mature unlike her role as Katerina in “Walang Hanggan.” “Wala po masyadong [preparasyon] kasi by age ko iyon eh. Kumbaga hindi na siya mature and medyo malapit sa akin yung character kasi hindi malayo sa totoong Mara (Montes’ real name),” she said. Aside from Montes, Dee and Gil, also part of the show are Daniel Fernando, Dominic Ochoa, Matt Evans, Jane Oineza, Cherie Gil, Dante Rivero and veteran actress Susan Roces. Amalia Fuentes was originally part of the cast but the ABS-CBN management announced on Monday that the veteran actress already resigned from the show “due to creative differences with the production team and the challenges and demands of regular taping schedules.” ABS-CBN head of Corporate Communications Bong Osorio the management accepted Fuentes’ resignation and “her replacement will be announced soon."

Coco shrugs off supposed rivalry with Enchong

MANILA -- Award-winning actor Coco Martin shrugged off a supposed rivalry between him and fellow Kapamilya star Enchong Dee. In an interview with "The Buzz" after the ABS-CBN Trade Launch event last Tuesday, Martin said people should stop speculating because all is well between them. "Comeptition? Never naman magkakaroon ng comepetition. Actually kaibigan ko si Enchong dahil nakatrabaho ko na siya sa iba't ibang shows at iba't ibang pelikula," he said. The supposed row between the two men started when Martin was tagged as one of the reasons Dee and actress Julia Montes had a falling out late last year. In a separate interview, Dee said he also has no problems with Martin, who also expressed interest in the young actress and was even her escort at her debut party. “Sobra kaming okay ni Coco. Doing well ang ‘Juan dela Cruz.’ Walang [kompetisyon], Coco Martin na iyon eh. Wala naming problema sa amin,” Dee said. This was also echoed by Montes in an interview with "KrisTV" last week. "Okay naman kami [ni Enchong] kasi friends kami ngayon at walang problema," Montes said. Dee and Montes are set to work together again in the upcoming series "Muling Buksan Ang Puso," which will also feature Enrique Gil, Amalia Fuentes, Susan Roces, Dante Rivero, Dominic Ochoa, Daniel Fernando, Malou Crisologo and Pooh. Enchong 'rebuilding' friendship with Julia Montes

MANILA – Enchong Dee and Julia Montes are now in the process of rebuilding their friendship after they had a falling out late last year. Dee and Montes will both be part of the upcoming ABS-CBN series “Muling Buksan Ang Puso,” which will also feature Enrique Gil, Amalia Fuentes, Susan Roces, Dante Rivero, Dominic Ochoa, Daniel Fernando, Malou Crisologo and Pooh. In an interview with ABS-CBN News on Tuesday, Dee said he is happy that he and Montes are now given the chance to spend a lot of time together – something they were not able to do in the past. “I’m really, really happy kasi isa sa mga dahilan kung bakit kami ganito na ulit ngayon is because of ‘Muling Buksan ang Puso.’ I’m thankful kasi masaya na ulit kami ni Julia. Kung ano 'yung gap, 'yung space na nagkaroon sa amin, wala na iyon,” he said. In his past interview, Dee said time was among the factors why their then-blossoming romance did not end well. “Ngayon I can say it na masaya kami now that we’re working. Pinangarap din naming ito nung time na iyon na maging magkasama kami. Now magkasama na talaga kami almost every day because of this show,” he said. Dee said he also has no problems with Coco Martin, who also expressed interest in the young actress and was even her escort at her debut party. “Sobra kaming okay ni Coco. Doing well ang ‘Juan dela Cruz.’ Walang [kompetisyon], Coco Martin na iyon eh. Wala naming problema sa amin,” he said. Asked if he has plans to woo Montes anew, Dee said: “Julia and I, we are just rebuilding our friendship. Doon muna tayo.” No spat with Xian Meanwhile, Dee echoed what Xian Lim earlier said about their supposed spat on the set of their series "Ina Kapatid Anak." “Okay kami, believe it or not, we are okay. Sabi ko nga more often than not, 'yung mga kwento sa showbiz either nadadagdagan or nababawasan and this is another issue that’s blown out of proportion,” he said. Dee denied reports that he and Lim had a confrontation. “Nag-usap lang kami, may klinaro lang ako sa kanya and walang sigawang nangyari and walang hindi kami nag-uusap. Sabi nga ni Xian, masyado kaming maraming pinagsamahan para masira lang dahil nag-usap kami,” he said. Dee also took the opportunity to clarify reports saying he will be leaving “Ina Kapatid Anak” to give way for “Muling Buksan ang Puso.” “Naging balita pero now, I’m confirming na we’re going end the show properly,” he said.

Xian speaks up on alleged spat with Enchong

MANILA – Xian Lim finally broke his silence amid reports that he and fellow “Ina Kapatid Anak” actor Enchong Dee had a confrontation on the set of their primetime series. In an interview with entertainment website Pep.ph, Lim clarified that it was not really a confrontation but a misunderstanding between the two actors. Lim said the incident happened before actress Kim Chiu’s birthday last April 19 when some of their supporters came for a visit, bringing with them a lot of food. “Binawalan nila (production people) ang lahat ng mga fans to go there pero ang nangyari, all of a sudden nagising na lang ako na may mga fans, may mga supporters, mga regular supporters namin. I thought it would be impolite, improper para sabihan sila na ‘Ay, umalis na kayo,’” he said. According to Lim, he found it difficult to ask their fans to leave. “Kaya I decided to entertain them. I guess people got offended. People got the wrong idea na they thought na sumusuway ako sa rules and regulations. It’s just really being polite to our visitors who were already there, and it seemed improper and rude to have to turn them away,” he said. Lim said he also appealed to the production team of “Ina Kapatid Anak.” “Just to make it clear and sinabi ko rin sa production na sana huwag kayong magalit sa akin kasi pinaglalaban ko lang ang mga supporters ko kasi sila pinaglalaban nila ako. Kung magagalit kayo sa akin because you felt na I disobeyed the rule, it’s more of being polite,” he explained. Meanwhile, Lim said it is not true that he and Dee are not talking to each other after what happened. “Kami ni Enchong nag-uusap kami, imposibleng ‘di kami mag-usap niyan. Siyempre may misunderstanding na nagaganap but it’s not the way people think. Ako kasi open ako sa kanya, I’m sure he’ll be open din sa akin. ‘Yun lang ang sasabihin ko, kung misunderstanding man, oo may misunderstanding pero napag-uusapan. Di 'yung dededmahin ko siya, di kami mag-uusap, walang ganun,” he said. Lim believes the incident was blown out of proportion when it was reported in some newspapers. “Just to make it clear, 'yun nga tension in the set with the people visiting. Sinabi ko let’s move along, alam kong bawal pero nandiyan na sila. I’m pretty sure more than P10,000 ang nagastos nila para sa pagkain kasi for everyone,” he said. “Siguro I was just asking for a little bit of respect ...Sabihin natin maybe things get exaggerated. Sa akin lang don’t exaggerate things not only with the writers but to people base sa hearsay,” he explained.

With her Mid-Summer Night's themed 18th birthday party on March 19, Julia Montes said she is overwhelmed by the grandeur of her upcoming celebration. During her birthday presscon held inside ABS-CBN last March 14, the 17-year-old explained why her voice was hoarse. “Kagabi kasi linabas ko yung kapatid ko, nag-Eastwood kami, may rodeo tapos yung Zorb. Nag-enjoy kaming dalawa. Kaka-eleven years old niya,” she shared. Julia said that there are a lot of preparations that will go into her debut at the Fernwood Gardens where guests are expected to attend in formal attire, with the ladies dressed in pastel-colored cocktail dresses and the men in black and white tuxedos. Julia will be wearing three different gowns created for her by top designer Pepsi Herrera. Julia said that people might be surprised to discover that she is not used to being the center of attention off camera. “Kasi ng character ko talaga kasi bilang Mara, hindi Julia, nahihiya talaga ako sa attention pag nakatingin sa akin yung tao and for sure pag birthday ko na, lahat nakatingin,” she admitted. Now that she's finally of legal age, Julia said she has no expectations especially when it comes to previous statements from her former suitor Enchong Dee. Enchong also declined to attend her party because of a work event scheduled on the same day. “Hindi naman sa nag-e-expect, parang ang pangit naman nun kung mag-e-expect ako tapos wala naman palang mangyayari. Siyempre nasa tao yan, nasa kanila na yun to pursue or hindi so hindi na ako nage-expect,” she said. When asked who has a bigger chance with her if ever they were going to court her, Julia said she would not be able to choose between Coco Martin and Enchong Dee.

Julia Montes admits she feels sad Enchong Dee can’t attend her debut

As she finally turns 18 on March 19, Julia Montes admitted she is excited about her birthday bash which has a guest list of over 500 friends, family, and showbiz colleagues. “Kinakabahan ako pero super na-e-excite din kung paano yung magigng flow ng party, kung paano mangyayari yung party, kung sino-sino yung mga makakpunta so talagang halo-halo yung emotions,” she admitted during her birthday presscon held last March 14 inside ABS-CBN. The debutante said she never expected to have a grand birthday celebration which will be held at the Fernwood Gardens in Quezon City. “This is my ultimate dream, to be with my loved ones on the most special event of my life,” she adds. The highlight of the debut includes Julia’s 18 roses, 18 treasures, and 18 tulips. On that night, Julia said she looks forward to seeing many important people in her life. “Siyempre yung mga close friends ko, yung mga showbiz friends and especially yung mga non-showbiz friends ko, yung family especially and siguro naman na pupunta daw sila so happy na ako dun,” she shared. Her escort will be Coco Martin and her 18 roses includes showbiz friends like Daniel Padilla, Khalil Ramos, Enrique Gil, Albie Casiño, Robi Domingo, Sam Concepcion, Paulo Avelino, John Lloyd Cruz, and Sam Milby. Julia also hoped there is a chance her wish of meeting her German father can also come true on that day. “Yes pero parang six days to go [na lang], medyo alanganin na siya. Pero siyempre hindi pa rin ako nawawalan ng hope and mag-sa-start na naman yugn bagong chapter ng life ko at 18 so puwede ko pa siya makita sa next chapter,” she said. The Fil-German beauty said it will definitely mean a lot to her if her dad showed up on her special day. “Ay, baka babaha sa venue (laughs). Hindi ko talaga alam pag tinatanong ako kung anong magiging reaction ko, kung anong gagawin ko pag nakita ko dad ko. Hindi ko talaga alam. Siguro masayang masaya lang ako basta makita ko siya from afar. Ganun lang yung mindset ko. And parang feeling ko buo na ako after that kasi siyempre kahit parang kahit ano mang achievements or ano namang masaya ng family ko, may something na kulang pa rin,” she admitted. The A Moment in Time star also clarified the issue that she omitted Enchong Dee from her guest list. Last year, Enchong was very vocal about his feelings for Julia but the two admitted they were not in touch with each other anymore this year. But now she says things are okay between them. “Yes, invited siya pero siyempre meron naman tayong work talaga bago na-plano itong party and may na-oo-han siya na schedule. Hindi ko pa alam kung makakapunta siya kasi may work siya that day.

Enchong Dee and Julia Montes Split up

MANILA, Philippines – A week after admitting things have changed between him and Julia Montes, actor Enchong Dee on Sunday confirmed that they had a relationship but refused to say they were officially a couple.

In a live interview with “The Buzz” on Sunday, Dee said he and Montes indeed became more than friends and were just waiting for the actress to turn 18 before going public about their relationship.

“I was just waiting for her to turn 18 in three months' time. Iyon na sana iyon eh, para kahit sinong magtanong, official na yes, oo, kami. Pero ang daming nagho-hold back because she is only 17. When we started going out, she's only 16. So parang ang tagal ko talagang hinintay,” he explained.

“Pero kung tatanungin mo kung more than friends or naging kami, I can say na parang ganun na kami. Oo [naging kami] pero we can't concretely say na yes naging kami because I was really waiting for her to turn 18,” Dee added.

The “Ina Kapatid Anak” star, however, said he is sad that this blossoming romance did not end well.

“It's because of the time. 'Yung last part of 2012, ibang klaseng hectic ng schedule na even my brothers, my parents, I can't see them even though nakatira kami sa isang bahay. Naging malaking factor 'yung time kaya hindi nag-prosper 'yung whatever it is,” he said.

Asked if he is still planning to pursue Montes anew, Dee said: “Hindi ko talaga alam eh. How I wish kaya kong sagutin at the moment, na sana kaya kong bigyan ng sagot ang mga nanonood pero hindi ko talaga alam.”

Meanwhile, Dee said he is not in the position to comment on reports that actor Coco Martin is planning to court Montes once she turns 18.

“Hindi ko alam. Kasi siyempre I'm not involved in that anymore. I don't want to include myself on that part,” he said.

The actor also said he won’t feel bad if he sees Montes with other men – but only if he knows she is happy.

“No [hindi ako masasaktan] if I see that smile that I'm looking for. When people get married, mayroon kang smile na nakikita na magiging masaya siya with that person forever. Lahat naman tayo naghahanap ng forever,” he said.

Looking back, Dee said he learned one important lesson when it comes to love.

“Never be too complacent. Huwag mong gagamitin 'yung word na okay na iyan, sapat na iyan kasi baka mamaya hindi pa pala 'yun enough,” he said.
