MANILA – Anne Curtis refused to comment on the breakup of Cristine Reyes and Derek Ramsay, her co-stars in the blockbuster movie “No Other Woman.”
Reyes and Ramsay became a couple on August 28 and have called it quits after just a little over a month.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News on Wednesday, Curtis said she is in no position to comment because she does not know the whole story behind the their relationship.
“First off, I don’t know the story. Wala din akong maco-comment. But maybe we should just respect whatever they’re going through,” she said.
Asked if she was saddened by the news, Curtis briefly replied: “Any breakup is always sad for someone, especially if you know them both.”
According to the “It’s Showtime” host, she doesn’t get to talk to the two regularly.
In a report published on philstar.com last week, Ramsay was quoted as saying that Reyes is his “friend for life.”
“Shortest [because] it’s a month. Longest, because I have a friend for life. And I’m gonna be her friend for life,” he said.
While he refused to give details about his breakup with Reyes, Ramsay said, “It’s just a decision that was made.”
“Ito lang ang sasabihin ko: walang may kasalanan, walang may mali, walang masama,” he said as rumors of a third party behind the breakup continue to surface.
