April 2008: Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson "bond" during the filming of "Twilight," the set of which MTV News was very lucky to visit and garner this first interview with the two, talking and laughing together.
November 2008: The relationship rumor mill kicks into high gear after Pattinson and Stewart get up close and personal in a sultry photo spread for Vanity Fair.
May 2009: The MTV Movie Awards bring "the kiss that almost was," when Stewart and Pattinson accepted their first Best Kiss trophy for "Twilight." The two pulled off their greatest tease yet by pretending to kiss and then pulling away at the last moment. 'Twas the almost-kiss that launched a million squeals.
August 2009: Stewart and Pattinson are spotted "getting cozy" at a Kings of Leon concert in Vancouver.
September 2009: OK! magazine claims the two lovebirds are engaged.
November 2009: Stewart tells Entertainment Weekly that she's tired of people (mainly reporters) asking about her relationship with Pattinson. "I probably would've answered it if people hadn't made such a big deal about it," she said. "But I'm not going to give the fiending an answer. I know that people are really funny about 'Well, you chose to be an actor, why don't you just f---ing give your whole life away?! Can I have your firstborn child?' "
April 2011: Stewart and Pattinson are caught in the midst of a kiss while celebrating the premiere of Pattinson's romantic drama "Water for Elephants" in New York City.
October 2011: Stewart tells British GQ that her "boyfriend is English." When pressed to further explain her remark, Stewart doesn't and instead says, "Come on, guys, it's so obvious!"
May 2012: Stewart attends the Cannes premiere of Pattinson's "Cosmopolis" and later gives MTV her review: "He's so good in it!" she gushed about Pattinson's performance. "He's really, really [good]. I don't even know how he [did it]. I couldn't even understand it. It's so good, it's so cool, I'm so proud of him. Thank God."
July 2012: Pattinson tells Blackbook magazine that he and Stewart are not getting married — yet. "There was a magazine, with these pictures, saying I was getting married. No one ever knows what is true or what isn't," Pattinson said. "Even my own mum called to ask me if it was true. It's not. At least, not yet."
