Meet The New Vampires of Twilight 'Breaking Dawn Part 2'
The end of the "Twilight" franchise is coming soon -- and the last flick is a vampire-packed affair!
"The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn -- Part 2" will introduce fans to a whole new crop of bloodsuckers as clans from Egypt, The Amazon, Ireland, Romania and Alaska will band together to help the Cullen family fight the Volturi.
Summit has released 23 new character posters for the movie, showing a large crop of the new red and orange-eyed vampires.
Toofab caught up with one of the new vamps this weekend at a Playboy/"True Blood" party in San Diego -- where he revealed what it was like joining the close-knit cast.
"You walk on set and you don't know what to expect," Amadou Ly told us. "I was nervous but the cast and director, everyone welcomed me. It became fun and working on set was a great experience for me, it was lovely."

Twilight Fan Dies While Waiting For the Comic-Con Panel 2012
The "Twilight" panel is always one of the most popular events at Comic-Con, the annual assembly of genre fans where movie studios showcase upcoming films. This year marks the final time the young adult franchise will feature at Comic-Con, with "Breaking Dawn Part 2" wrapping up the series in November.
Tragedy struck just outside the San Diego Convention Center on Tuesday morning, as a 53-year-old woman reportedly rushing to line up for Thursday's "Twilight" panel at Comic-Con was hit by a car. She was taken to an area hospital and later pronounced dead.
Official release from Summit regarding this sad news:
Lionsgate, Summit and the entire Twilight community are saddened by the death of a Comic-Con fan today due to a traffic accident during the hours leading up to this year’s convention in San Diego. Our thoughts and condolences go out to the victim’s family and friends. She will be respectfully remembered this Thursday in Hall H.

Robert Pattinson Is Going To Comic-Con 2012 with Breaking Dawn Part 2 co-stars!

Edward Cullen and Bella Swan have a lot on their plate at the moment, not the least of which is making sure their newborn daughter Renesmee is kept safe from the incoming forces of the Volturi. (Can't someone just explain that she's not an immortal child? Feels like a simple, diplomatic exchange might spare everyone some bloodshed, no?) But even with a very busy schedule on their hands, your favorite vampires and their closest friends would never leave you hanging where Comic-Con is concerned.
Consider it official, then: Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are coming to Comic-Con! Summit Entertainment announced today (July 3) that the on-screen Edward and Bella will be at the San Diego show for a "Breaking Dawn" press conference held at the Hilton Bayfront Hotel from 11:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. on Thursday (July 12). Start lining up now, "Twilight" fans!
Joining Pattinson and Stewart are plenty of your other favorite "Twilight" stars, including Taylor Lautner, Peter Facinelli, Nikki Reed, Jackson Rathbone, Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz. Also along for the ride is newcomer Mackenzie Foy, starring in "Breaking Dawn" as young half-vampire Renesmee.
Directed by Bill Condon, "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn -- Part 2" brings the epic love story of Edward and Bella to an end. After numerous fits and starts in their romance, the two are now married and the proud parents of little Renesmee. Not only is Bella a new wife and mother, she's also a new vampire, too; Edward turned her during childbirth, saving her life in the process.
But what should be a very happy ending has a very serious hurtle to overcome: the Volturi have been lied to, and they now believe that Renesmee is an immortal child, a highly volatile and uncontrollable form of vampire. Dead set in their beliefs, the Volturi are coming to kill baby Renesmee — and the Cullens must stop them before it's too late.

Potential Franchise Reboot For "Twilight" Denied By Lionsgate
Huffingtonpost. The "Twilight Saga" wraps up in November with the release of "Breaking Dawn Part 2," but that might not be the last time you hear from Edward and Bella. According to the website Bloody Disgusting, executives from Lionsgate and Summit -- the studios behind "Twilight" -- are privately chatting about a potential franchise reboot.
Few other details were given by Bloody Disgusting, and the report was soon denied by Lionsgate movie chief Rob Friedman. In an interview with Deadline.com, Friedman said the studio had no current plans to remake the franchise.
The "Twilight" franchise has been the equivalent of an ATM for Summit Entertainment. The films have earned over $2.5 billion around the world since "Twilight" was released on Nov. 21, 2008. Expectations are that the final film, "Breaking Dawn Part 2," could be the biggest hit yet at the box office.
If a franchise reboot does occur, don't expect to see many "Twilight" cast members back again. They seem perfectly pleased with how "Breaking Dawn Part 2" closes things out.
"The end is so sweet. There's this nice finality to it," Robert Pattinson told Entertainment Weekly in a recent cover story. "Everyone who was watching started crying. It does a serious justice to the series."

First Look on Breaking Dawn Part 2 Edward, Bella and Renesmee
Entertainment Weekly recently release photo of Edward Cullen's Family including daughter Renesmee played by Mackenzie Foy. Bella is wearing a "grey and black structured equestrian-style “Kasia Jobpur” pants by Michael Stars, antique black Belstaff “Bella” leather jacket, and lace up leather, high heel ankle boots. Edward looks quite chic himself in dark wash jeans, leather hiking boots and a sharp grey Belstaff cadet jacket.
