MANILA -- For actress Sunshine Cruz, the afternoon series "Dugong Buhay" came at just the right time and helped her to move forward after her separation from estranged husband, Cesar Montano.
That's why she couldn't help but feel sad now that the hit series is about to end.
On Wednesday, Cruz posted a photo of the show's cast and crew in her official Instagram account, saying she will miss them.
"Sobrang kong mami-miss ang mga taong ito at ang show na ito...:( Sa #abscbn salamat sa muling pagbukas ng pinto para muli akong makaarte at makapagtrabaho. Habambuhay kong tatanawing utang na loob. Dumating ang show na ito when I needed change and wanted to move forward," Cruz wrote.
She also thanked viewers of the show for their support during the show's six-month run.
"Dugong Buhay," which stars Ejay Falcon, will air its final episode on Friday, September 28.
After "Dugong Buhay," Cruz will be part of ABS-CBN's much awaited fantasy series "Galema" with Andi Eigenmann.
