MANILA -- Actress Gretchen Barretto said she is not surprised by the latest controversy involving her sister, Claudine.
On Monday, Claudine filed a temporary protection order against her estranged husband, Raymart Santiago.
Asked for comment about the issue, Gretchen said: "No. I was not shocked. With many things happening, I am only concerned with my self-preservation."
Gretchen added that she and their brother, Jay-Jay, are hoping that the truth will prevail.
Meanwhile, Gretchen said she is excited over her new projects, which include the Cinemalaya movie "The Diplomat Hotel" and the ABS-CBN series "Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala," which stars Judy Ann Santos.
She made her first appearance as a lawyer in Santos' soap on Monday (July 29).
