Brad Pitt's World War Z Body Double Made How Much?! Find Out!

As it turns out, it's not all that profitable to be Brad Pitt's body double. According to the U.K.'s Daily Record, a Scottish actor who played Pitt's double in World War Z reportedly only made about six bucks (4.44 Euros) an hour during his time on set. The actor, 26-year-old David Paterson, earned about $105 (80 euros) for the 18 hours he spent on set doubling as the megastar in scenes shot in Glasgow. "I basically had to be Brad for the day and copy everything he did on screen," Paterson told the Record. "I walked away with around 80 [euros], no autograph and no VIP invites." "I did it for the experience," he added. "You get asked to do something like that and you can't really say no." To put Paterson's salary into perspective, Pitt earned nearly $14 million for the zombie flick, according to the site's figures. (Pitt's daughter Vivienne pulled in $3K for a week's work on mom Angelina Jolie's Malificent, though that's low.) But, then again, he also is the real Brad Pitt. While there's no word yet on if we'll see Pitt (or Paterson) taking on zombies again in a World War Z sequel, Pitt is already gearing up for a new flick, prepping for the upcoming World War II movie, Fury. Pitt and his co-star Shia LaBeouf were spotted spending a couple of days at the end of June at the National Training Center in Fort Irwin, Calif., chatting with some of the soldiers there for research for their roles in the film.
