MANILA -- Veteran broadcast journalist Korina Sanchez was visibly thrilled with the outcome of her recent guesting in the popular ABS-CBN game show, "Kapamilya, Deal or No Deal."
Sanchez on Thursday taped her upcoming guest appearance on the Luis Manzano-hosted program, which is down to its last few episodes after a one-and-a-half year run.
"Oh my God! Ang masasabi ko lang, it's historic! It's historic," Sanchez said shortly after the taping. "I think it's the first in the history of 'Kapamilya, Deal or No Deal,' so kailangan talaga panoorin nila!"
The "TV Patrol" anchor added: "I had a lot of fun, really. Sabi ko nga, up to the very end talaga, wow, palaban talaga tayo!"
In the local edition of the hit global franchise, contestants pick between an unknown amount of cash prize inside their chosen briefcase and the changing offers of a "banker" based on the revealed values of 20 other briefcases in play.
Asked what she plans to do with her prize, "Hindi ko lubos maisip kasi, oh my God, hindi ba, talagang alam mo bawat piso ay talagang napaka-importante!"
With only a few episodes of "Deal or No Deal" left to air, Sanchez said she will miss watching the weekend game show. "Sabi ko nga, I'll really miss 'Kapamilya, Deal or No Deal.' I'm sure marami rin ang makaka-miss niyan," she said.
Aside from the "Rated K" host, also expected to appear as special guests leading up to the finale of "Deal or No Deal" is actress-singer Sarah Geronimo.
"Kapamilya, Deal or No Deal" airs Saturdays after "TV Patrol: Weekend."
