MANILA, Philippines - Karla Padilla and Rommel Padilla expressed their happiness over the success of the first major concert of their son, teen heartthrob Daniel Padilla.
Daniel, one of the hottest teen stars in show business today, celebrated his 17th birthday via a concert at the Araneta Coliseum on Tuesday, April 30.
"Maraming, maraming salamat sa lahat ng pumunta. Masayang masaya ako. I'm so proud of him," Estrada said in an interview after the concert.
"Sobrang pasasalamat sa lahat ng mga tagasunod ni DJ at ng pamilya Padilla," added Rommel.
Daniel's concert featured his renditions of local rock hits, as well as performances from special guests such as Parking 5, Yeng Constantino, Pokwang and Arnel Pineda.
His on-screen partner, Kathryn Bernardo, also joined Daniel on stage to express her support for the teen actor.
