MANILA, Philippines -- ABS-CBN president and chief executive officer Charo Santos-Concio expressed her support to comedienne Ai Ai delas Alas, who recently separated from her husband amid allegations of physical abuse.
On Instagram, delas Alas posted a photo of flowers and a letter sent to her by Santos-Concio.
The photo's caption read: "MAM CHARO SALAMAT PO SA INYO SA NOTE NA ITO AT SA BULAKLAK ... tunay kong naramdaman ang inyong pagmamahal para sa akin bilang kapamilya... labyu po mam charo and GOD BLESS YOU."
In an interview on "The Buzz" aired over the weekend, delas Alas said her husband, 27-year-old Jed Salang, physically abused her. She added that she decided to leave him last May 2 after a violent confrontation.
Delas Alas, 48, and Salang were married in Las Vegas last April 3.
The comedienne tearfully said she believes Salang never loved her.
Ai Ai gets bag from Willie
Earlier, a number of celebrities showed their support for delas Alas, including controversial host Willie Revillame.
Also on Instagram, delas Alas said Revillame visited her and gave her a designer bag.
The caption on delas Alas' photo read: "GOOD MORNING... NAPAKASAYA NG UMAGA KO PAG GISING KO ETO BISITA KO SI WILLI REVILLAME ... isa kang TUNAY NA KAIBIGAN THANK U SA LV BAG.. THANK SA PERA BINIGAY MO SA ATE KO MGA YAYA AT DRIVER... LABYU WILL... GOD BLESS YOU MORE.. SANA 2 pa EROPLANO MO HEHEHE MABUHAY KA."
Revillame left ABS-CBN in 2010.
Currently, Delas Alas is one of the judges of ABS-CBN's hit talent show "Pilipinas Got Talent 4."
