MANILA – All's well that ends well for celebrity sisters Ara Mina and Cristine Reyes, who after months of misunderstanding, have finally patched things up.
In her official Instagram account on Monday, Reyes posted a photo of her and Mina hugging each other.
Her caption says: “With the gift of listening comes the gift of healing.”
Mina also posted a different version of the picture with the caption: “Just like the rainbow after the rain. A good thing will always happen after you experience the pain.”
In Reyes’ succeeding posts, it can be seen that the reunion of the previously estranged sisters happened during a family gathering attended by their relatives.
It would be recalled that Reyes allegedly asked Mina to turn over an SUV as payment for the remaining P1.8-million balance for a Quezon City townhouse they bought in 2011 for their mother. If not, Reyes allegedly threatened that she will continue her personal attacks against Mina.
Then in April last year, Mina filed charges of libel and grave coercion against her younger sister not to claim money but to “teach her a lesson” for her attitude.
Mina earlier demanded through her counter-affidavit that Reyes issue a public apology for her to retract the case.
Reyes have already said sorry since then, but Mina refused to accept the apology saying she found it insincere.
