MANILA, Philippines – Better late than never: Richard Gutierrez had a post-Valentine escapade of sorts with sweetheart Sarah Lahbati in Switzerland, her birth country.
The actor flew over late last month, and had taken to posting photos of the trip on Instagram.
“Finally with my love here in Switzerland, after a tiring session of skiing time to head home and make some Raclette ;),” he wrote on Feb. 24, showing a photo with Sarah – with a snowy backdrop.
In another photo he uploaded Feb. 25, Richard and Sarah are in a jacuzzi while marveling over the wintry Swiss landscape. “Blessed Thank you Lord for everything. @sarahlahbati,” he wrote.
A Feb. 28 photo, on the other hand, was captioned, “#Stoked Aside from a couple of falls, skiing lessons day 3 went well,. Weather was perfect once again here in #zermatt #matterhorn #sunnega.”
Sarah, meanwhile, is apparently fascinated by the views, judging from the number of landscape photos she uploaded on her Instagram account recently.
However, it seems that intrigues continue to follow the young actress on the other side of the world. A Feb. 26 selfie (a self-taken photograph intended for social media upload) with a handbag covering her waist and hip area had netizens wondering about Sarah’s true condition. A good number of comments on her Instagram page of late are about her purported pregnancy, which Richard already refuted in previous interviews.
As a seeming response to her unwavering detractors, the Fil-Swiss star tweeted Feb. 25, “Mapapagod din kayo:)).”
When a netizen asked how she feels about being inactive in showbiz, Sarah’s response was replete with optimism.
“@ma_nillen feels really good! it's not like I can't live without being in showbiz. Marami pang mas importanteng bagay na gusto kong gawin ;),” she said.
Sarah went back to Switzerland in January to take a showbiz hiatus as well as to study again. Her departure came on the heels of a legal tussle and falling-out with her mother studio GMA-7 due to contract issues.
