MANILA, Philippines – Teen star Bea Binene claims to have received threats from alleged “Der-Bie” (Derrick Monasterio and Barbie Forteza) fans over her reunion with the Kapuso heartthrob on the Vic Sotto-starrer "Vampire Ang Daddy Ko.”
“Sa Twitter, may mga nati-tweet sa akin, 'O, bakit silang dalawa? Bakit silang dalawa iyong nandyan? Bakit hindi na lang si ganyan, bakit hindi na lang si ganito?'" Bea revealed in an interview aired on "Unang Hirit."
However, the young actress downplays the negative comments saying these are part of show business.
As for the rekindled rivalry between Bea and Barbie, the former stressed that though they are not close with each another, they are certainly in “good terms”.
“Nagbabatian naman kami kapag nagkikita kami, pero iyon nga lang kapag lumalabas sila nina Joyce (Ching), Derrick hindi ako gaano nakakasama pero okay naman."
Aside from new endorsements and TV shows, Bea is busy promoting her debut album “Hey, It’s Me! Bea.”
