Will Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla have their first onscreen kiss for their movie Must Be Love? When PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) asked if they shot a kissing scene with, Daniel answered, “Tingnan natin…panoorin natin.”
The 17-year-old actor quipped, “Hindi pa kasi ako ready, e.” Kathryn, who will celebrate her 17thbirthday on March 26, answered, “Yun po ang isa sa mga aabangan nila sa movie. Let’s see.” Is Kathryn comfortable to have Daniel as her partner when she does shoot her first kissing scene? “Kung dumating sa time na puwede na, of course, mas gusto ko na kilala ko na [guy sa] first kissing scene ko para hindi awkward masyado or hindi maninibago masyado kasi kasama ko na siya parati. "Okay naman kung si DJ [Daniel’s nickname] ang first kissing scene ko sa movie. “Yun yung matagal nilang [fans] hinihintay simula pa noong Princess and I," referring to their previous teleserye on ABS-CBN. Directed by Dado Lumibao, their launching movie, Must Be Love, will be screened in cinemas starting March 13. REAL STATUS. During the presscon held yesterday, February 28, TV host/columnist/actor Ogie Diaz asked KathNiel what is preventing them from admitting the real status of their relationship. Daniel said, “Sana kasi lahat ng tao parang fans na lang. May mga taong talagang hindi nakakaintindi. "Kahit naman hindi artista, pinagbabawalan pa rin ng tao, mas lalo po kaming artista. “Marami pa kasi kaming gagawin.” Does this mean that Daniel is still courting Kathryn?
“Parang M.U. na kami,” declared Daniel. When Kathryn was asked regarding the status of their relationship, the young actress explained, “Kagaya po ng sinabi ni DJ [Daniel’s nickname], may mga bagay na hindi natin mamadaliin.
“And nagkakaintindihan kaming dalawa. "Yun yung importante na alam namin kung ano ang priorities namin ngayon. Mali na ang emosyon na ilalabas mo.” VALENTINE’S DAY CELEBRATION. When PEP asked KathNiel how they celebrated Valentine’s Day, Daniel paused a while before answering: “Sweet. Masaya. Nag-movie marathon kami ni Kathryn. “Siyempre, nakapuntos na naman ako. Nung Valentine’s, masayang araw yun. Masaya.” What gifts did they give to each other? Daniel revealed, “Binigyan niya ako ng lalagyan ng sapatos.” What gift did Daniel give to Kathryn? “Pagmamahal lang po,” he said, eliciting cheers from his fans who were present at the Dolphy Theater. SWEETEST GESTURES. The young loveteam was asked to recall the sweetest thing that they did for each other.
