Justin Bieber took an unexpected trip before heading back to Europe tonight.
The 19-year-old, who's scheduled to resume his Believe tour tomorrow in Munich, briefly visited ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez's house on the way to the airport this afternoon.
A source exclusively tells E! News that Bieber arrived at Gomez's Encino, Calif., home at around 3:30 p.m. and stayed for just over an hour.
The beleaguered pop star, bodyguard in tow, was driven through the front gates in a bus-type vehicle.
Shortly after Bieber left, Gomez was seen driving away from the house as well.
Her ex is due to fly out from LAX tonight, but we're told he was driven back to his own home in Calabasas directly after leaving Gomez.
