Did Kim Chiu walk out of the “Ina, Kapatid, Anak” set after hers and Maja Salvador’s alleged true-to-life fight scene? Not true, insists Kim.
“Huwag na lang nating pag-usapan iyon. Okay na iyon. Umalis ako pagkatapos ng take kasi tapos na. Hindi naman ako nag-walkout. Bakit naman ako magwa-walkout kung hindi pa tapos? Tapusin natin saka tayo umalis,” Kim said in an interview on “Umagang Kay Ganda” on Wednesday, February 20.
It will be recalled that the two stars had an intense fight scene in a a party in one of the “Ina, Kapatid, Anak” episodes, where they play warring sisters. Many viewers think the teleserye is a classic example of art imitating life. Kim admitted Maja’s closeness with her ex-boyfriend Gerald Anderson has affected their long-time friendship.
Valentine’s date
Gerald, for his part, admitted he wants to court Maja if she will let him. He also reportedly hired a helicopter that took him and Maja to a high-end restaurant in Tagaytay last Valentine’s Day.
Kim has chosen to ignore personal issues and focus on work instead.
"Kung ano yung nasa script, ginagawa na lang namin. Ang sa akin, mahalin ko lang ang trabaho ko at mamahalin din naman ako ng trabaho ko. At huwag na nating isipin ang personal na buhay. Ang mahalaga ay nagpapasaya kami ng mga tao.”
