MANILA – Actor Derek Ramsay admitted on Monday that his one-month romance with actress Cristine Reyes is the “shortest longest relationship” he ever had.
In a report published on philstar.com on Monday, Ramsay was quoted as saying that Reyes is his “friend for life.”
“Shortest [because] it’s a month. Longest, because I have a friend for life. And I’m gonna be her friend for life,” he said.
While he refused to give details about his breakup with Reyes, Ramsay said, “It’s just a decision that was made.”
“Ito lang ang sasabihin ko: walang may kasalanan, walang may mali, walang masama,” he said as rumors of a third party behind the breakup continue to surface.
When asked to comment on a photo he uploaded on Instagram which had the caption “This is forever,” Ramsay said: “Like I said, this is a private situation that me and AA (Reyes’ nickname) are going to handle together or individually. And after time, I’m sure everything’s going to be okay.”
Ramsay and Reyes have been friends for three years. The two are the lead stars of an upcoming movie titled “Trophy Wife.”
They worked together in the 2011 movie “No Other Woman,” which also stars Anne Curtis.
