Julia Montes pressured with soap's late timeslot

MANILA – Teen actress Julia Montes is feeling the pressure after her primetime series “Muling Buksan Ang Puso” was moved to a later timeslot. In an interview with ABS-CBN News on Monday, Montes said she is a little scared that some viewers might not catch their soap because of its new timeslot. Despite the late timeslot, Montes said she trusts the ABS-CBN management because they know what’s best for the show. “Hindi naman namin masyado iniisip. Nangyari din iyon sa amin last time sa ‘Walang Hanggan’ so medyo okay lang. Sana lang tangkilikin pa rin kami ng mga tao,” she said. Rather than dwelling on the matter, Montes said she is more excited to be working again with veteran actor Christopher de Leon, who will be joining the “Muling Buksan Ang Puso” cast soon. “Nakatrabaho ko na siya before sa ‘MMK’ pero very short lang. This time, gusto kong sabihin na ‘Naka-work ko na po kayo before and honored po ako na makatrabaho kayo ulit,’” she said. “Muling Buksan Ang Puso” is now the third series to be shown after “TV Patrol” every weeknight on ABS-CBN. It airs after "Juan dela Cruz" and “Got To Believe.”
