MANILA, Philippines -- Host-comedian Vice Ganda has finished taping for ABS-CBN's fantasy hit series "Juan dela Cruz" starring his good friend Coco Martin.
"Done taping JDC. Thanks so much to the cast and crew of Juan Dela Cruz for a fun experience. Hope to work with u guys again. More power!" Ganda shared in his official Twitter account on Wednesday.
In the soap, Ganda plays the tikbalang Santana, a creature that is supposed to be half-man, half horse.
"Saksihan ang mga pambubwisit ni Santana ang Reyna ng mga Tikbalang sa mga Diwata at sa Tagabantay. #ViceGandaInJDCDay2," Ganda added.
On Monday, Ganda made his debut in the soap as Santana leads other tikbalangs against the fairies, who sealed them off to rot in a dense forest.
When a portal to the realm of fairies opened, Santana wastes no time to plot their revenge and kidnap Mira (Shaina Magdayao), the well-loved princess of their rivals.
Meanwhile, in the human world, Juan (Martin) starts working on unleashing the holy whip as a new weapon formed by the steel cross, or "bakal na krus."
Vice Ganda is the latest star to make a guest appearance in the series, after Gretchen Barretto, Jhong HIlario, Bugoy Carino, Epi Quizon, Ella Cruz and Jane Oineza.
The top-rating series airs weeknights after "TV Patrol," during ABS-CBN's Primetime Bida block.
