Color us not surprised Ke$ha's mom is not a fan of her daughter's gold tooth.
"My mom hates it," the pop star confessed to E! News backstage earlier this month at the Palace of Auburn Hills in Detroit where she shared the stage with Pitbull.
"She says it looks like I'm missing a tooth in most pictures and that I look like a hillbilly and she wants me to get rid of it," she added. "And then so whenever she says that, then for the last video I did for "Crazy Kids" I got a full gold grill."
Somehow, we're not surprised. So how did the gold tooth come to be?
"I got into, like, a thing at a bar…Not a fight, it was more like a rowdiness," she clarified. "Somebody was being mean to one of my dancers and I couldn't take it, so then part of my tooth came out and then the gold went on."
The singer also gushed it's "so fun" meeting her fans on tour and said "playing to screaming people is euphoria."
Ke$ha and Pitbull's Detroit show will be featured on the first installment of "E!'s Inside Track Summer Concert Series," premiering June 21 during E! News at 7 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. The feature series is a collaboration with Live Nation.
"My show is like, my life," the sassy songstress admitted. "I live for this, it's not just a thing I do...I don't even know when the last time I was home, I just live for the show!"
