MANILA – Doctor-turned-actor Hayden Kho said he has already accepted the fact that the scandal he got involved in years ago will forever be attached to his name.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News on Wednesday, Kho said the only thing he can do is to start doing things right.
“Kapag paulit ulit ‘yung sakit, hindi mo na mararamdaman eh. I guess [manhid na ako]. Pero more than that, parang natanggap ko na lang na part na iyon ng pangalan ko, part na iyon ng story ni Hayden Kho. Ang question na lang, anong gagawin ko sa story na iyon para maka-inspire,” he said.
Admitting he still gets affected when people only remember his sex video scandal, the controversial actor said it also drives him to move forward.
“Hindi ko magagawa iyon alone. Kailangan ko ng panahon doon. Not by myself. Malaki ang tulong ng mga kaibigan ko at higit sa lahat ng Panginoon,” he said.
Kho said he is also happy for actresses Maricar Reyes and Katrina Halili, who were both linked to him once.
“I am very for [Maricar]. I am very happy na everything is going very well for her. I am also happy that Katrina is doing well. Pero kung ano man ang ginagawa ko [sa showbiz], walang relationship sa kanila,” he said.
Rather than dwell on his past, Kho said he just wants to focus on his business and showbiz career. Kho is part of an upcoming movie "The Bride and the Lover," alongside Paulo Avelino, Jennylyn Mercado and Lovi Poe.
Kho is also reportedly back with celebrity doctor Vicki Belo. The controversial couple split up in February last year amid rumors of an alleged romance between Kho and former actress Nancy Castiliogne, who were reportedly seen kissing at a bar in Taguig.
