MANILA -- Actress Andi Eigenmann is all set for her next series on ABS-CBN.
On Twitter, Eigenmann called her newest project, "Galema," an "amazing birthday present."
"Thank you lord for another amazing birthday present for this year. #Galema malapit na po sa Abs-cbn!!" said the actress, who celebrated her 23rd birthday last Tuesday.
Eigenmann plays the titular character in "Galema," a Pinoy komiks character. She is the daughter of Zuma, who is known for having a two-headed snake on his shoulders.
Galema was most famously portrayed by Snooky Serna in a 1985 movie opposite Max Laurel as Zuma.
Racer-turned-actor Matteo Guidicelli, her co-star in the defunct ABS-CBN series "Agua Bendita," will be Eigenmann's leading man in the series. Also part of the show are Sunshine Cruz, Sheryl Cruz and Lito Legaspi.
Eigenmann's last TV project is the defunct series "Kahit Puso'y Masugatan," which also starred Iza Calzado, Jake Cuenca and Gabby Concepcion.
Her last movie, meanwhile, was "A Secret Affair" with Anne Curtis and Derek Ramsay.
