MANILA, Philippines - Filipino-Mexican singer Jessica Sanchez appeared on the season finale of the popular TV series "Glee" on Thursday (US time).
Playing the role of Frida Romero, Sanchez performed Zedd’s “Clarity” and Little Mix’s “Wings” in the episode titled "All or Nothing."
"This was such an incredible experience. Thank you @MrRPMurphy for letting me be a part of it! #gleefinale," Sanchez said on her Twitter account.
The singer said it was a dream come true for her to be part of the hit show.
"(& thanks to all of the #BluJays and #Gleeks who tuned in. This was a dream come true. Xo #gleefinale," she added.
Earlier this week, Glee unveiled a behind-the-scenes video of its season finale featuring Sanchez.
In the clip uploaded on YouTube, Sanchez recalled her experience on Glee.
“I absolutely love both of the songs. It’s so much fun. The choreography that they made up is just perfect for the songs so I’m just feeling it, getting into the groove,” she said.
Being a self-confessed “Glee” fan, Sanchez said meeting the cast was an amazing experience for her.
“I’ve always been a big fan of ‘Glee.’ Being here and actually seeing them in person, I did get star-struck. It’s crazy. I see them on TV all the time. It feels weird,” she said.
The American Idol runner-up was first seen on “Glee” last April 26 (Manila time) although it was only for a few seconds.
During her brief appearance, Sanchez was featured belting out a part of the American national anthem as New Directions coach Will Schuester spied on her.
Sanchez is currently promoting her debut album titled "Me, You & The Music".
