Singer-actress Aiza Seguerra is staying put in the noon time hit Kapamilya teleserye “Be Careful With My Heart,” even as reports say that she has resigned. The show changed timeslot to clash head-on with GMA 7’s noontime variety show “Eat Bulaga!"
Aiza was discovered as a child star in Eat Bulaga.
“FYI resignation issue is not true. Thank you,” Aiza tweeted on Tuesday, Feb. 19.Bong Osorio, ABS-CBN’s Integrated Corporate Communications Division Head, echoed Aiza’s words in a press statement released on Thursday, February 21.
“Aiza Seguerra is a valued member of the top-rating Kapamilya daytime series “Be Careful With My Heart” family and her character, Kute, is integral to the narrative of the show. It is not true that she has resigned from the show,” the statement read.
Aiza plays the older sister of Jodi Sta. Maria's character, Maya in “Be Careful With My Heart,” which also topbills Richard Yap.
