Ryzza Mae, Bimby in 'Torky and My Little Bossing' trailer

MANILA - The first trailer for "Torky and My Little Bossing," an entry to this year's Metro Manila Film Festival, offers a glimpse of what is billed to be the cutest tandem on the big screen this Christmas season. Released online early this week, the first trailer for "Torky and My Little Bossing" features scenes between the two lead stars James "Bimby" Yap, Jr. and Ryzza Mae Dizon, as they try to live under one roof. Directed by Marlon Rivera, the comedy film marks the big screen debut of Bimby as well as the on-screen reunion of his mother, TV host Kris Aquino, and "Eat Bulaga" host Vic Sotto. "Torky and My Little Bossing," as well as other other entries to the annual film festival, will open on Christmas Day.

MTRCB: Ryzza Mae's dignity violated in own show

MANILA - The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) has expressed concern over "child-unfriendly" scenes in "Eat Bulaga" and "The Ryzza Mae Show," which both include child actress Ryzza Mae Dizon. MTRCB has called for a mandatory conference with representatives of the two shows, as well as Dizon's mother, on Thursday (September 5). It said some scenes from the two programs "palpably violate the dignity of" Dizon. MTRCB was referring to a scene in the July 29 episode of "Eat Bulaga" where a host spat juice into the face of Dizon; and the August 14 episode of "The Ryzza Mae Show" where a guest told Dizon "landing bata ka." "The MTRCB hopes in the cooperation of those concerned in finding out what caused these scenes, who are responsible therefor, and what immediate and concrete measures can be done so they do not happen again. In this connection, the MTRCB reiterates its serious and urgent concern for the welfare of children, who are most vulnerable in media and entertainment," MTRCB said.

Bimby, Ryzza Mae sing duet in first meeting

MANILA -- James "Bimby" Yap Jr., the son of basketball star James Yap and host-actress Kris Aquino, finally met child actress Ryzza Mae Dizon, the boy's co-star in his debut film. The two kids have been cast in the movie "My Little Bossings," an entry to this year's Metro Manila Film Festival, which also stars comedian Vic Sotto. Aquino, who is also one of the movie's producers, will also have a role in the movie. "Through the eyes of children everything can still be beautiful, exciting & inspiring. Bimb & Ryzza renewed my faith that LIFE IS WONDERFUL! Good Morning," Aquino said in the Facebook page of her official website Kris Aquino.net, where she also posted a photo collage of the first meeting of the two kids. Photo courtesy of Kris Aquino.Net's Facebook page Aquino said her son also gave Dizon some gifts. After warming up, the two children also gamely sang the hits "Pusong Bato" and "Just Give Me A Reason." Yap also tried to do the child actress' signature cha-cha dance.
