Usher Does a Dance Move for Each Letter of the Alphabet on Sesame Street—Watch Now!

What better way to learn the ABCs than to associate each letter with a dance move? And who better to teach us those moves than the man who can boogie with the best of 'em—Usher. The R&B singer stopped by Sesame Street today to help teach the alphabet with much more swag than we're used to. Usher, along with Grover, Murray Monster, Elmo and Abby Cadabby, showed off a quick and fun dance step that correlates to every letter of the alphabet, because the ABCs "can help you move." For example, the letter B is for "bounce like a ball," D is to "duck down," E is "elbows out" and M is "make a muscle," just to name a few. Some weren't exactly associated with a particular dance, however. Like the letter U was for—yep, you guessed it—Usher. And our personal favorite was Y, which stood for the star's signature phrase, "Yeeeeah, man!" Watch the clip and find out how "the ABCs are movin' you!"

Usher Breaks Silence on Son Nearly Drowning, Thanks "True Heroes" Who Saved His Child's Life

It's been a rough and scary few days for Usher Raymond. The R&B singer's 5-year-old son Usher Raymond V is currently in an Atlanta hospital after nearly drowning in the celeb's pool on Monday, and tonight, Usher has decided to address the situation for the first time since the horrific accident occurred. "I am blessed and fortunate to say that my son Usher V is doing well and is recovering," Raymond said in a statement. "I am overwhelmed by the outpouring of prayers, love and support for my family's well-being. I would like to thank my Aunt Rena as well as the doctors and nurses who are working with us around the clock," he continued. "I would especially like to thank the two men who saved my son's life, Eugene Stachurski and Ben Crews. They are true heroes and I am deeply grateful to them." A friend of Usher's ex-wife Tameka Foster took to her blog to give an update on Usher Raymond V, saying that he's doing "fine," and "currently in stable condition at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Scottish Rite and is being held for observation." The incident happened two days ago when the young boy's arm got stuck in a pool drain while he was underwater trying to retrieve a toy. His aunt and a housekeeper unsuccessfully tried to free him before contractors working in the house got him out of the pool and performed CPR on him. Earlier today, Foster filed paperwork requesting an emergency custody hearing in the wake of the pool accident that will take place in Atlanta on Friday. Foster is asking a Georgia judge to immediately award her temporary custody of all her minor children currently under Usher's care, including their other son together, 4-year-old Naviyd. This comes just a year after Usher's late stepson, Kile Glover (Foster's biological son), died after being struck by a personal watercraft on Lake Lanier.

Justin Bieber and Usher Sued for $10 Million Over "Somebody to Love"

Did Justin Bieber and Usher not have "Somebody to Love" before De Rico came along? That is what Devin Copeland (who performs as De Rico) is claiming in a $10 million copyright infringement lawsuit that alleges he showed Usher a tune of the same name and the R&B star usurped it for Bieber's My World 2.0. Copeland, who is suing along with his writing partner Mareio Overton, alleges that his album 2008 My Story II contained "Somebody to Love" and he and Overton applied for and were granted the copyright. In the lawsuit, filed Thursday in U.S. District Court in Virginia, Copeland states that he then met with scouts from major labels such as Island, Sony and RCA, who then brought My Story II to various artists, including Usher. "Without any authority or consent," the suit states, "[Manager Jonetta Patton] and Usher conspired with songwriters and producers...to directly copy Plaintiffs' song 'Somebody to Love,' intending to appropriate Plaintiffs' intellectual property as their own." Heather Bright, who is officially credited with cowriting the Bieber track with production team The Stereotypes, is also named as a defendant, along with Patton, Universal Music Corp. and Sony/ATV Music Publishing. Usher, who recorded the track as a demo for his own Raymond v. Raymond before handing it over to his protégé, later rerecorded the official remix, which was released on June 25, 2010. According to the suit, it was Overton who heard Bieber's tune on the radio in the summer of 2010 and immediately called Copeland about it. "Prior to that time, neither plaintiff was aware of the Bieber version," the complaint states. Copeland and Overton are asking for at least $10 million in damages for alleged copyright infringement, contributory infringement and vicarious infringement, as well as for a permanent injunction preventing Bieber, Usher and their fellow defendants from laying any further claim to the song's copyright. Usher is currently in L.A., where he's shooting The Voice, and Bieber's world tour just touched down in Dubai. A rep for Bieber hasn't responded to a request for comment.

Blake Shelton: Usher 'Gets Under Shakira's Skin' On The Voice

Blake Shelton has revealed that new coach Usher had a sort of magical power over some of "The Voice" contestants. But not so with Shakira. "I think he gets under her skin a little bit, because he sits there and he's Usher," Blake told Access Hollywood's Michelle Beadle on Tuesday in New York City. "He [doesn't] even have to say that much. He just gives whoever the person is 'the look' and they're like, 'Usher!'" Blake continued. "After a while, Shakira started mocking him a little bit. It was getting on her nerves and it should have... It was getting on my nerves." Something that absolutely did not get on the nerves of Blake and his coaching buddy Adam Levine was being hugged by Shakira. "Adam and I figured out after three or four times, when Shakira would beat us out of an artist that we all wanted that it'd be like, 'OK, cut!' And she'd feel so bad about it, she'd come over and give us a hug, 'cause she felt bad," Blake recounted. "So Adam and I started figuring out, 'Man, let's just hit [the button] every time she hits her button -- even if we can tell it's some Latin, flared artist back there that there's no way we're gonna get anyway, let's hit our button anyway, because we know we're gonna get the Shakira hug.'" Of course, Blake isn't sure those hugs will continue. "She'll probably see this [interview] back and she'll - she'll probably keep hugging him, but she'll probably never touch me again," he said. Blake has been enjoying being a coach on "The Voice," but he said he is unlikely to ever take a break from the show, with the idea of coming back, as Cee Lo Green and Christina Aguilera did for the current season. "I think If I ever take a break, it'll be permanent," Blake told Michelle. "I don't see myself like... taking off a season and then coming back, because to me, if I take off a season, it would be to go start whatever's next." "The Voice" continues it's two-night Season premiere tonight at 8/7c on NBC. -- Jolie Lash
