Richard Gomez and Dawn Zulueta are set to show off their timeless chemistry in ‘You’re My Home.’ Despite the proliferation of younger love teams today, veteran actors Richard Gomez and Dawn Zulueta’s tandem still managed to secure the title of the “Eternal Love Team”. The secret, according to Dawn, during an interview at the recently-concluded press announcement of her upcoming family drama with Richard titled You’re My Home, is “history.” "Isa lang ang lamang namin sa mga love teams ngayon, may history kami kaya mas madali naming naipapalabas 'yung chemistry na 'yun," she said. For Richard, it’s the Filipinos’ unending fascination for what makes them laugh and love that makes their tandem last and even appeal to the generation that is supposedly not their market. "'Yung age, walang pinipili 'yan. You could be a young person or an old one. Dawn and I, we cater to that kind of people," the actor said. Not only has the CharDawn pairing won over a new generation of fans, but it also has the approval of their respective real life partners. "In fact, matagal na niyang gustong masimulan dahil madami nang naghihintay na mga fans na magkaroon ng follow up 'yung Richard and Dawn," shared Richard about what his wife, 4th District of Leyte Representative Lucy Torres, who is also a self-confessed fan of their tandem, said about their project. Dawn, revealed that her husband, Davao del Norte Representative Anton Lagdameo, was very supportive as well. "Matagal na niyang alam na mayroon kaming project [ni Richard]. ” Aside from You're My Home, the two shared that they are slated to star in a two movies together. You’re My Home, starring Dawn and Richard will be the second reunion soap of the love team, the first being the highly successful, Walang Hanggan. Joining them in the cast are Enchong Dee, Shaina Magdayao, Iza Calzado, Cherry Pie Picache, Ella Cruz, and Francis Magundayao.

Dawn Zulueta opens up about challenges in marriage

MANILA -- After 16 years of being a married couple, and with respective careers in showbiz and politics, actress Dawn Zulueta admitted challenges in her relationship with Davao del Norte Rep. Antonio Lagdameo. The 44-year-old Kapamilya star, in an interview on "Tapatan ni Tunying" aired Thursday, said she and her husband are no longer able to spend as much time together, pointing to their busy schedules. Asked if they ever manage to go on dates nowadays, Zulueta said, "Angdalang. Siguro 'yung last naming date, weekend lang, sa Hong Kong. 'Yung mag-a-abroad kami, o out-of-town [trip]." Lagdameo and Zulueta were married in 1997, which then marked the actress' prolonged vacation from showbiz. They have two children, aged 7 and 3. Zulueta made her drama series comeback in 2004, and went on to star in high-profile ABS-CBN projects including "Mula sa Puso" in 2011 and "Walang Hanggan" in 2012. She is currently hard at work on the ongoing series "Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin," and her upcoming film with on-screen partner Richard Gomez. To balance her time for work and family, Zulueta said she had personally requested to be given a certain schedule despite juggling numerous projects. "Ang trabaho ko, Monday to Friday lang. M-W-F ng week na iyon, talagang puyatan. Pero 'yung T-TH, nasa bahay lang ako, lalung-lalo na 'yung Saturday and Sunday. Hindi ko na talaga pwede ibigay sa kahit sino, dahil 'yun lang 'yung time na nando'n 'yung mga bata sa bahay," she said. Jealous Dawn Even then, the actress said she and her husband tend to devote their free time to their two children, admittedly at the expense of having quality time together. "Trabaho ko palang, trabaho niya, eh halos buong araw na 'yon. Tapos aasikasuhin mo 'yung mga bata sa gabi. Eh ilang oras lang 'yon. Kailangan mo pa matulog nang maaga dahil may pasok the next day," she said. "Siguro from 9 p.m. to 12 midnight, 'yun lang 'yung oras namin," she added. Admitting she is a jealous wife to some extent, Zulueta explained the reason is mostly because Lagdameo tends to be preoccupied with his job. "'Yung selos ko siguro has to do more with 'yung oras. 'Yung pagka na-fi-feel ko na na, 'Wala na tayong time together, palagi ka nalang busy.' Doon, medyo nagtatampo," she said. Depsite this, Zulueta shared her husband more than makes up for lost time, saying, "Oo naman, talagang pinapasaya niya ako!"

Dawn speaks up on 'secret date' with Gerald

Manila - "OTJ" actress Dawn Jimenez denied rumors that actor Gerald Anderson is secretly visiting her. "Hindi totoo. Unang-una wala akong number nya, wala din syang number ko so imposible naman na makapunta doon. Saka di naman ako ganoong klaseng tao," said Jimenez, who played Anderson's girlfriend in the film "OTJ." Jimenez stressed she would never allow herself to ruin a relationship. Anderson is currently in a relationship with actress Maja Salvador. "Ayaw kong maging third wheel," she said. Jimenez, who experienced 8 hours of shooting intimate scenes with Anderson for "OTJ", said she's not the new apple of the eye of the actor. "Walang katotohanan," said Jimenez, who had publicly admitted that she has a crush on Anderson.

Dawn's husband never jealous of Richard

MANILA – Davao del Norte Rep. Anton Lagdameo Jr. does not get jealous of actor Richard Gomez, who was recently reunited with his wife Dawn Zulueta for several television and movie projects. Gomez, who is now married to Lucy Torres, was Zulueta’s former boyfriend and on-screen partner. In an interview aired on “The Buzz” on Sunday, Lagdameo said it is more likely that he gets jealous of Zulueta’s work schedule she spends too much time taping. “Hindi naman [ako nagseselos kay Richard [kasi nagkakaintindihan kami.] 'Yung selos is more on ‘Can you please spend more time at home?’ We have dinners, minsan bumabiyahe kaming dalawa lang, we go to Hong Kong. We just make sure that we have time to spend together naman,” he said. More than two decades after their 1991 film "Hihintayin Kita sa Langit," the Gomez-Zulueta love team was brought back via top-rating ABS-CBN series "Walang Hanggan." Due to their strong following, the two are set to headline their own movie this year, and work on another television series set for next year. “[I’m] one of the biggest fans [nila Dawn and Richard] dati pa,” revealed Lagdameo. Meanwhile, Lagdameo said he is always behind his wife, especially now that she has a new TV series "Bukas na Lang Kita Mamahalin," as the mother of Gerald Anderson. “Congratulations and good luck. I hope it does well like the last one. I’m sure it will. Magaling naman talaga. I’m sure it will be a success,” he said. Lagdameo also revealed how Zulueta is as a wife and mother. “When she’s not on screen, she’s a normal person. Hindi rin siya yung kapag nasa bahay na, tulog and leave her alone. Hindi. Nag-aasikaso iyan sa mga gamit, OC iyan eh. Kailangan siya yung gagawa. Hindi napapabayaan yung bahay and yung trabaho,” he said. He added: “Maasikaso, very hands on. Disciplinarian din, pinagsasabihan ang mga bata at the same time maalaga. She always likes to do things with kids. Parating may time para sa mga bata. Kapag nasa trabaho siya and then the kids are free, kasama niya.”

PREVIEW JULY 2012 COVER BEAUTY "DAWN ZULUETA"

Dawn Zulueta went through 3 stages of makeup for her cover shoot: bare-faced beauty, old Hollywood glam, and the edgy look that made the front page.

What can't Dawn Zulueta pull off? A fringed metallic bodycon? Yes. Red on red? Naturally. A barely-there cut-out gown? Killed it.

It was fun therefore to see how the actress took on the three different makeup looks that Lala Flores created, transforming Dawn from sweet to sexy to just plain hot. While her bold burgundy lip has gotten most tongues wagging, we break down the rest of the shapes, colors and techniques that enhanced the actress' features, leaving no doubt in anyone's minds as to why she's on the cover of this year's Preview Best Dressed issue.
