Kapamilya star Kim Chiu believes her newest acting award is a gift from her mother, Louella Yap-Chiu, who died last June due to aneurysm.
Chiu won the Best Television Drama Actress trophy at the 3rd EdukCircle Awards for her performance in the hit ABS-CBN soap "Ina, Kapatid, Anak."
"Sa mama ko, siguro gift niya 'to sa akin. Thank you so much," said the actress during an episode of "Kris TV," where she appeared as a guest host.
"I'm so happy. Nakaka-happy, nakakaganap na artista. Sobrang saya, wala akong masabi," she added.
As a proud "sister," "Kris TV" host Kris Aquino gave Chiu two sets of clothes.
