MANILA -- The first trailers for the new game show hosted by Judy Ann Santos have been released, days after the actress dubbed the "young superstar" renewed her contract with ABS-CBN.
One of the clips uploaded on ABS-CBN's YouTube page on Friday shows children, aged 2 to 3 1/2 years, and their behavior in different situations. The second video shows another toddler, this time made to pick among balloons, food or toys.
Santos appears in both teasers, saying, "Gaano mo kakilala ang baby mo?"
"Bet on Your Baby" is Santos' first project under her new two-year contract with ABS-CBN, which she formalized early this week amid speculations she was set to switch networks.
While the mechanics of the game show have yet to be detailed, Santos earlier said it will involve the toddlers and their respective parents having to arrive at similar decisions.
"Kaya ako kinakabahan, kasi baka mauna pa ako tumili sa mga contestants... Ito naman, it's all about babies and how you deal with them," the 35-year-old actress said shortly after her contract-signing last Wednesday.
She added: "No'ng nakita ko 'yung peg ng show, na-happy ako, kasi ako mismo noong pinapanood ko siya, nate-tense ako kung makukuha ba ni bagets 'yung bet ng mommy niya. Nakaka-ano siya, nakakatanggal ng problema."
The airdate of "Bet on Your Baby" has yet to be announced.
