Billy mum on Nikki's statements about split

MANILA – Actor Billy Crawford said he has yet to watch the interview of his former girlfriend, singer Nikki Gil, who spoke for the first time about their split. In an interview with ABS-CBN News during the premiere night of his latest film “Momzillas” on Tuesday, Crawford refused to comment on the statements which Gil made, saying he has not yet seen the video. “Hindi ko pa napapanood,” Crawford briefly said. During Gil’s “Bandila” guesting, she said it was primarily their difference in values that prompted the breakup. “If I were to give a reason for it, because I don’t think it was never made clear, the difference is in values. It’s one of the things na napakaimportante, na pareho kayo ng pinaniniwalaan, ng values. It has to be the same. Otherwise it won’t work,” she said. Asked what she thinks went wrong in their relationship, Gil said: “I wish I knew. I think more importantly, what’s happening now is more important. There’s no use looking back. I just want to be excited for the things to come.” But when asked if there was a third party involved, Gil gave this short but meaningful answer: “At this point, I don’t think it’s any of my business anymore.” While Gil left viewers wondering because she did not answer the question directly, ABS-CBN News posed the same question to Crawford on Tuesday. “I’ve said it before, there’s no third party. It’s whatever everybody else thinks right?” he said. According to Gil, she has learned a lot from their breakup and she feels like she is currently “at the center of God’s will for my life.” “In every relationship, kapag bumangon ka mula sa pagkakadapa, of course you’re in pain for a while but in hindsight you’ll realize the things that you’ve learned about yourself, about being a partner -- which will only equip you for your future partner,” she said.
