MANILA, Philippines -- Actress Kim Chiu is going back to work after the death of her mother Louella Yap Chiu last week.
In her Instagram account, Chiu posted late on Sunday a photo of her with caption: "tomorrow is another day... #bkk #work."

Chiu again extended her appreciation to those who showed love and support to her and her family.
"thank you sa lahat ng nakiramay and for all who sent huge flowers for my mom, mass cards and foods. i may not thank each and everyone of you but I really appreciate everything... maraming maraming maraming salamat po from #chiufamily and #yapfamily God bless you all."

On Saturday, Chiu and her family brought their mother to her final resting place at Cebu Memorial Park. Mrs. Chiu passed away due to aneurysm at the age of 50.
The actress was supposed to be one of the hosts of Mr. and Ms. Chinatown Philippines 2013 on Sunday along with Xian Lim, Enchong Dee and Gretchen Ho. She was replaced at the last minute by actress-host Alex Gonzaga.
