MANILA – Actor Ejay Falcon has shaved his head for his afternoon series “Dugong Buhay.”
Saying he was initially hesitant to go bald, Falcon said he was convinced to let go of his long hair since the plot of the series calls for it.
“Medyo kinabahan pero masaya na rin ako kasi nung sinabi sa akin, nung nabasa ko naman 'yung script, parang makakatulong talaga sa kuwento ng ‘Dugong Buhay.’ Kailangan gawin iyon,” he said.
Falcon said he is just hoping that the viewers will still like his new look.
“Medyo nakaka-excite na nakakakaba kasi maganda naman ang feedback ng mga tao. Maganda naman ang mga comments na nakukuha ko sa mahabang buhok ko. Ito, hindi ko alam kung paano nila tatanggapin ang bagong itsura ni Ejay Falcon,” he said.
The former “Pinoy Big Brother” housemate said his new look in the show will be the turning point of his character as Victor.
“Yung itsura niya nagbago, yung pananaw sa buhay. Yung look niya, iyon ang una niyang binago. Yun ang simula,” he said.
After donning long curly hair for over a year, Falcon said he will just have to get used to his new look.
In an upcoming episode of “Dugong Buhay,” it will show Falcon shaving his head by himself.
Aside from Falcon, “Dugong Buhay” also features Pen Medina, Ana Capri, Lito Pimentel, Ketchup Eusebio, Yam Concepcion, Jed Montero, and Ronnie Quizon.
It airs on ABS-CBN every weekdays at 3:30 p.m.
