MANILA, Philippines - Megastar Sharon Cuneta and Senator Francis "Kiko" Pangilinan celebrated their 17th wedding anniversary on Sunday.
Cuneta's eldest daughter, KC Concepcion, shared during her co-hosting stint on the ABS-CBN morning talk show "Kris TV" on Monday that they went to Tagaytay to celebrate the occasion.
"Nagpunta 'yung family sa Antonio's sa Tagaytay. Ano siya, nag-dinner kami. 'Yung stepdad ko kasi mahilig mag-hire ng quartet every year, pero sweet naman. Every year, may quartet siya. So parang place lang at quartet ang nag-iiba, at saka food. So nag-fireworks kagabi at lantern," Concepcion said.
The host-actress added that it was the senator who planned everything for her mother.
"Yes, so 'yun, happy anniversary," she said.
In a previous interview, Cuneta said that their secret to their strong relationship is humor.
Cuneta first met Pangilinan during the wedding of her brother. They went out on a date and became an item in 1994.
They got married on April 28, 1996.
