Like most people, celebrities take time out for spiritual reflection and bonding with family and friends on Holy Week. While some of them have gone out of town or overseas, others preferred to have a ‘staycation’ in the comfort of their homes. Singer Rachelle Ann Go shared that it has been a family tradition to just stay home during Holy Week. “Every Holy Week, hindi kami umaalis ng family. So, this year, ganoon pa rin, sa bahay lang kami. Sa summer, hindi ko pa alam, kasi magsa-start na yung rehearsal ng “Tarzan,”” Rachelle said. The same holds true for Yeng Constantino, who doesn’t plan to go out of town this Holy Week. She said reflection is an “everyday” thing for her. “Wala ko masyadong plano sa Holy Week. Dito lang sa Manila, spending time with family lang, kain lang kami. Hindi nagma-mater kung saan kayo pupunta, basta kasama mo family mo. Tsaka, yung Holy Week, yung reflection, it’s not just nangyayari kapag Holy Week, it should be everyday of your life.” While Rayver Cruz doesn’t have a definite plan yet, he is sure to spend the Holy Week with his family. “Nag-iisip pa kami ng family. Siguro out of town kasi mahilig kami doon ng family ko. kung hindi man matuloy, siguro bisita Iglesia,” he said. Meanwhile, new Kapuso talent Christian Bautista shared that he and girlfriend Carla Dunareanu are Hong Kong-bound. “Before everything else starts rolling down, mag-relax muna, find peace. Then, go na, diretso na sa work,” Christian said. Other stars also post photos of their holiday getaways through their Instagram and Twitter accounts.
