MANILA, Philippines -- Gab Valenciano on Monday said goodbye to all his fans as he takes a break from show business to study abroad.
In his official Twitter account, Valenciano, the second son of singer Gary Valenciano and talent manager Angeli Pangilinan, thanked his supporters, friends and family.
"I am truly blessed to have friends and family like you. You all are my greatest achievements and nothing else can ever compare. You all are the reason I am who I am. No words will ever be enough to define how much I truly appreciate your existence in my life," Gab said.
"Thank you so very much to each and every person who came tonight. You have no idea how special you made me feel. I am loved. I am blessed... Good morning, Manila. This is it," he added.
In a previous interview, Gary turned emotional as he said that his son will be away from their family for two years to study in United States.
Gary admitted it was actually his dream to study abroad when he was younger. Now, Gary is very proud of Gab because he will be the one fulfilling this dream for him.
"This is the day folks. Even if @gabvalenciano flys today, it is a day the Lord has made. I will somehow rejoice and be glad in it. Luv u son," Gary tweeted on Monday.
Gab is set to study in Orlando, Florida. After that, he said he is planning to tour the US and Europe to see where he can practice what he would learn.
