Bea Alonzo is excited to start shooting for the movie that will also star Angel Locsin, Shaina Magdayao, and Toni Gonzaga. The said movie which will be a family comedy will also include Enchong Dee. “Nabasa ko na ‘yung script, nakakatawa,” explained Bea.
Known as a dramatic actress, Bea was asked if she won’t have a hard time doing a comedy project. “Hindi naman ako magpapatawa, nakakatawa lang ‘yung sitwasyon,” she answered.
With equally popular co-stars, one of the questions that came up was if the billing in the movie won’t be an issue among them. “Hindi naman, tsaka ang Star Cinema naman gagawin naman nila, para sigurado, mas maganda na pantay-pantay [ang billing] since mga kaibigan ko din naman sila,” she reasoned. She also revealed that just recently, she and Shaina went to Angel’s place and spent time together. She continued that Toni wasn’t able to come because she was busy that day.
Bea also added that she is not worried about her working relationship with her fellow co-stars because they have a good director, Cathy Garcia Garcia-Molina. “As long as we talk to our director, okay naman ‘yon. Tsaka based naman sa script lahat naman kami pantay-pantay. Tsaka si Direk Cathy na ang bahala do’n. ‘Yung set ni Direk Cathy harmonious naman palagi,” she related.
Coincidentally, Angel was the leading lady of Bea’s boyfriend, Zanjoe Marudo, in last December’s film One More Try, wherein Angel and Zanjoe also had an intimate scene. Push.com.ph then asked Bea if she and Angel discussed this matter or if they even made a joke about it. Bea replied, “Wala ‘no! Parang pare-pareho kaming artista, pare-pareho naming trabaho ito. It’s so unprofessional to even ask.”
Speaking of Zanjoe, Bea shared that they will be officially together for two years this March and that they are both happy with their relationship. However, they might not be spending their anniversary together since Zanjoe will be working, but if their schedule permits, they will fly to Australia this coming Holy Week.
Bea added that she and her boyfriend are trying to make the most of their time together, especially because Zanjoe is going to be busy with a teleserye, a movie, and a daily gag show on his schedule.
The actress was asked if she and perennial partner John Lloyd Cruz will have another project together in the future. “Sigurado naman na meron pa rin kaming project together. Ang tanong di ko lang alam kung kelan, pero siguradong meron,” she confirmed.
