Angelica Panganiban made a hard-hitting post against her critics on her Instagram account when she posted a picture enumerating the Ten Commandments, together with a status putting emphasis on the ninth commandment, “Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.” The said post was made on February 21, Thursday. Below the image was a post wherein Angelica expressed her disapproval of the people who “make up stories” to ruin other people’s happiness.
Angelica suggested that there are certain people who can’t bear the idea that she is happy with the person she loves so they fabricate stories intended to spoil her blissful disposition now.
Her post went: “#9 huwag manirang puri sa kapwa tao... Huwag mag sinungaling... --- tamaan na ang guilty... Malungkot isipin na kabuhayan nila ang manira ng kapwa. Mas maayos sana ang takbo ng buhay if we live in peace.. Si Lord na ang bahala sa inyo. Stop hating us just because were (sic) happy. I sincerely pray that who ever is guilty may find his happiness.. :) and may he realize that making up stories is not a profession.. God bless you. :)”
Though Angelica did not mention what provoked her to make such a strong statement, it could possibly be related to when she was asked about boyfriend John Lloyd Cruz allegedly being seen with another girl on a date. Two days before she made the post on her Instagram account, Angelica was interviewed at the press conference of her upcoming late-night gag show, Banana Nite, which will start airing February 25, Monday.
She replied that she read about this item on her Instagram account and explained that this particular basher made up stories, including the one that said that John Lloyd dated another girl. Angelica stressed that she is very confident with her relationship with John Lloyd. She also added that there is no need for her to explain to people. She added that there is no need for her to talk to her boyfriend about this matter, which she finds absurd.
She continued that she is just saddened by the idea that in showbiz, some people will try do things to ruin a happy relationship.
