Rayver Cruz is not yet ready to date again. In an interview with Push.com.ph, the actor relayed that he wants to focus on his work first as of the moment. “Busy pa ako sa work eh, work muna tayo, pero open naman ako sa dating, pero hindi pa siguro ngayon.” When asked if there is a specific type of girl that he would want to date, Rayver remarked, “Wala naman specific, darating yan, di ko naman hinahanap eh.”
When it comes to dating, the actor is not particular as well if the girl is from showbiz or not. “Showbiz or non-showbiz hindi mo naman mako-control yan basta pagdumating, ‘yun na ‘yun.”
The actor was spotted last October 7 at the premier night of Alagwa. He said that he was really looking forward to the movie because of the rave reviews and the numerous awards that the film has received. “Hindi pa nilalabas ‘tong Alagwa na movie nationwide ang dami ng pinananalo so gusto ko talaga mapanood. Tapos si Echo (Jericho Rosales) pa yan, tapos si direk Ian Loreños katrabaho namin siya ngayon sa indie movie na ginagawa namin kaya excited na kami na makita ‘yung movie nila,” he said.
Rayver shared that he is currently doing an indie movie with Matteo Guidicelli and Joseph Marco. “Parang magbabarkada yun [na movie] eh kaming tatlo nila Matteo, kakaiba ‘yung story, barkada pero mas seryoso kasi kasama sila Joseph Marco at Matteo, first time ko silang makatrabaho tapos si direk Ian sobrang cool niya, ‘yun nga coming from Alagwa ‘yun ‘yung project niya,” he relayed.
After starring in a critically acclaimed movie himself, OTJ(On the Job), Rayver said he is inspired to do more movies with great stories. “Lalo ng after OTJ na ma-try ‘yung pelikula na lumabas sa Cannes, parang nakaka-inspire gumawa ng pelikula, parang wala ng kaso kung mainstream or indie ‘yung pelikula basta maganda ‘yung istorya gagawin ko,” he said.
