We may have all the info on Lauren Conrad's love ring, but in order to completely break down her gorgeous engagement ring, we had to turn to the experts.
Until the designer is revealed (hopefully soon!) and can dish specifics, what we do know is according to Zaven Ghanimian, marking director of Simon G. Jewelry, the ring is "a four-prong, 2-carat round cut diamond with a thick band."
As for the price? Zaven estimates the star's fiancé, William Tell, could've splashed down as much as $40,000 for the bling.
"It is tough to tell the price since the clarity and color can't be determined, but based on what we can tell it could range anywhere from $20,000 to $40,000," Zaven says.
Also weighing in on Lauren's ring is celeb jewelry designer Jennifer Fisher (Rihanna, and Katie Holmes are fans), who tells E! News:
"Lauren's ring is quintessential timeless perfection when it comes to choosing a setting that will withstand the test of time. One quality about it that is exciting is that she has updated her gold color to yellow, where there has been a trend for the platinum bands recently."
